Thanks!

Suspension is TIEN Street Bias Coilovers and the wheels are 18x8.5 in the front and 18x9.5 in the rear I think. I am not sure of the offset on the wheels as they were on there when I bought the car. I am going to raise it 1/4 to 1/2 inch. JustinNC12-31-2018, 01:09 PMI was going to ask if it was a little too low - does it rub, or hit the bump stops or something? Sic_G_Dom12-31-2018, 03:11 PMI was going to ask if it was a little too low - does it rub, or hit the bump stops or something?

It does not rub at all. The fenders are rolled a little and the PO took out the fender wells in the front. I want it 1/4 - 1/2 so I can get up my driveway without scraping the front bumper KrismanX12-31-2018, 03:48 PMHere are a few recent of mine. Still needs tons of work.

- - - Updated - - - bkperformance1904-17-2019, 05:49 PMLooks like your all in!!! konzelmann06-09-2019, 01:43 PMMy 1991 MR2 Turbo, inherited from my father in 2017 and he had purchased it from my uncle in ~1999. My uncle owned the car from new. So - 3 owner car including me. ~88,000km on it at this point ~52,000 miles. Mostly all original and mint. Berk exhaust, aftermarket boost gauge, the wheels/tires, some basic suspension work done mainly for maintenance purposes by my father; other than that, it's basically as it was when it was a new car. Inherited it in 2017 but didn't get it here to Ontario until right before snow and the car was of course put away for the winter. 2018 didn't get to drive it much for one reason or another. But now in 2019 I've had it out a few times already and getting to know it a bit. Such a nice car, amazing how much it feels and smells like it could be right out of the showroom today. It has so many of the '1990's exotic sports car' traits without the drawbacks. (I can imagine that if it was an early 90's Lotus Esprit or Ferrari 348 I would have spent thousands on maintenance already just to be confident that the car wouldn't die on me and would work properly. Where as this MR2 has cost me nothing but an oil change, a brake fluid flush, and it feels 100% reliable)

Not sure if I really like the wheels, think I'd prefer 17" Enkei RPF1's. Or go back to stock just because of how original the car is.

Well beak, there's strange reports of the SMT trannys on the Mk3's forum and unless you have a real experienced shop for chasing these computer-trannys and their way too many parts-or if your a shut-in go fur it..No word on at mk2's problems??

I see some very exotic looking mk3's in the Miami cruise lanes. Here in the ft laud area there seems to be quite a bit more hihp turbo 2's and very few oem looking rides. Even sleepers have drag tires.

In my 3 years of showing the SC there has been only 1 other SC car. Interesting, it was at the monthly west Lamborghini dealers' cruise in.

K1 are great very light wheels, superb for performance.

And they stick/stand out from all the others...you only ever see the standard silver (there is a yellow 2 with white on the OC), which is another reason I thought about a dark gunmetal like my Kosei were in...plus they'll need to be cleaned up a bit anyway so why not just have it done while theyre doing that.
