Now the car is lowered whit k.a.w. springs. Front -1,7 inch, Rear -1,5 inch
The shocks are stock right at the moment, ride comfort not vrily changed, it's probably the same.
If any body want now my terrible wheel sizes: (f) 16x7et40 205/50/R16 and (r) 16x7et40 225/50/R16 toyo proxes t1r tires and Mak XLR ice black rims

Here you go, got mine used off ebay, don't think they make mr2 specific ones any more, but if you bought the universals and mounted them to the doors they'd probably work even better than mine. You'd have to fabricate a block off plate where your old mirrors went but that'd be easy with the black abs plastic.

This summer I'm going to repaint the car and in the process fix a few rust spots that are developing. The car needs paint badly, eventhough it doesn't really show in the pictures. Eventually I'll also be doing a 2GR swap. Probably within 2 or 3 years. w1jim06-05-2014, 10:07 AMUsing the MR2 for pace car duty at the SCCA races at NHMS over Memorial Day weekend.

The weather was perfect, the crowds seemed to enjoy the car presentations. The Margarita vendor offered some pricey ($7) but large drinks and the beer was cold. All made for a great day of music, cute beach bunnys and cool cars.

The black one had replica greddy sideskirts made by shine auto - they fit really well. The red one has some knock-off ebay replica greddy side skirts that don't fit quite so well. They're going to come off when I get closer to time to paint.
The wheels on the red one are 17x8 +35 (front) w/ 205/40 17 tires, and 17x9 +42 (rear) w/ 255/40 17 tires. Wheels are Rota Grids and tires are General GMAX AS-03. Yeah, it takes some cutting to get the 91 panel to fit the 94+ lights. I topped off all of the fluids and changed the timing belt, air filter and oil. Next the body kit has to go. To much rice on the car. The wing is hideous.

We gonna spray the car all one color with just base coat like before for the summer so she looks sorta decent and this winter she will be going under the knife for the final pass on the body work.

My 1st show as a official antique was last weekends Cooper City (Fl) Founders Day at their local park. It was an open show, that is, open to all ages of cars, trucks, ratrods and customs. Next weekends gig at a local ALF is all AACA only and will most definitely be lower key in many ways I'm sure. Then a picnic, then a Mystery Tour etc etc
So if your tired of that "punk turbo" crowd, the engine spitting episodes at the rev-limiter, and are looking for a venue that you can take your kid and the wife to try your local AACA event. You'll see the best of Americana engineering that eventually lead to the 800hp Demons of today.
Me? Yeah well, I still attend the Weds nite import gathering of the Superior Street Syndicate. I like the new tech, street tuners and the redneck truck nutsos. To say nothing of the lady followers.

The shocks are stock right at the moment, ride comfort not vrily changed, it's probably the same.

Here you go, got mine used off ebay, don't think they make mr2 specific ones any more, but if you bought the universals and mounted them to the doors they'd probably work even better than mine. You'd have to fabricate a block off plate where your old mirrors went but that'd be easy with the black abs plastic.

This summer I'm going to repaint the car and in the process fix a few rust spots that are developing. The car needs paint badly, eventhough it doesn't really show in the pictures. The weather was perfect, the crowds seemed to enjoy the car presentations. The Margarita vendor offered some pricey ($7) but large drinks and the beer was cold. The black one had replica greddy sideskirts made by shine auto - they fit really well. The red one has some knock-off ebay replica greddy side skirts that don't fit quite so well. They're going to come off when I get closer to time to paint.
The wheels on the red one are 17x8 +35 (front) w/ 205/40 17 tires, and 17x9 +42 (rear) w/ 255/40 17 tires. Wheels are Rota Grids and tires are General GMAX AS-03. Yeah, it takes some cutting to get the 91 panel to fit the 94+ lights. Hoping to get a set of fronts later but I will prolly hold off on installing them for now till the conversion I'm building is done. We gonna spray the car all one color with just base coat like before for the summer so she looks sorta decent and this winter she will be going under the knife for the final pass on the body work.

My 1st show as a official antique was last weekends Cooper City (Fl) Founders Day at their local park. It was an open show, that is, open to all ages of cars, trucks, ratrods and customs. Next weekends gig at a local ALF is all AACA only and will most definitely be lower key in many ways I'm sure. Then a picnic, then a Mystery Tour etc etc
So if your tired of that "punk turbo" crowd, the engine spitting episodes at the rev-limiter, and are looking for a venue that you can take your kid and the wife to try your local AACA event. You'll see the best of Americana engineering that eventually lead to the 800hp Demons of today.
Me? Yeah well, I still attend the Weds nite import gathering of the Superior Street Syndicate. I like the new tech, street tuners and the redneck truck nutsos. To say nothing of the lady followers.
So hey if you drop down to South Florida for time check the show/cruise schedule at FlaCarShows.com and drop into a daily event venue. There's a show daily somewhere. It's like heaven for cruisers. Look for 1st gen Mr2.

Is this cage built to comply with national rally specifications? In the USA we hear alot of rally in scandinavia but not much of regular road racing activities. (short summers no doubt)
What kind of classification do you roll into with this engine swap? (When I added racing slicks to my 88SC I was classed into racing stripped down Corvettes w V8 engines.)
