ween19108-30-2006, 03:31 AMI had an idea while at work the other day. I want the center panel for the tail lights to be all solid. No key hole and no reverse lights. I want the reverse lights mounted inbetween the two brake lights. Has anyone done this before?

I was just showing you that, it would be a hell of a lot cheaper (and more fun) to do it yourself with your existing panel. The reverse light idea is a kick *** idea! I hope your able to accomplish it. ween19108-30-2006, 08:02 PMIm trying to figure out if the light between the two brake lights will pop out or if I have to give it a little effort. I haven't measured, but it looks like the same size as the reverse lights. Hopefully I'll have time Saturday or Sunday to give it a better look.

PHOENIX, how much does that center panel normally go for? I have a few friends who are very good at fiberglass (hell, he said my bumper would be easy to fix...crazy man) so I was thinking about just adding a few layers of fiberglass to it to make it solid. I think its plastic actually. And I did a freehand measure of the lights, they are exactly the same size so I should be able to pop the reverse lights right in the slot. Sweeeet!
