HI-SW2012-05-2011, 05:00 AMsorry if this is the wrong place to post this topic.
well i remove my tranny from my gen 3 engine and now im cleaning it out. i want it too look clean like brand new. i tried sanding it but its a pita to do it hurts on my fingers and now my wrist is killin me. i want to know if there is any other way to clean out the tranny case and show some shine.

count out sand blasting i dont have the money for that lol
open to any other advise 328FTW12-05-2011, 05:38 AMAcid, mag wheel cleaner should work. Spray it on, let it eat all the crap, hose it off. If you want it to look new hit it with the mag wheel cleaner, then wash it down, maybe a bit of a wirebrush in places, degreaser, hose off, dry, paint with silver paint and put on good clearcoat.
