Do you want something like this?

Well your in luck, with our 50 step program you'll see these results in no time!

First things first, You need the corners and harness to make things easier. ;)
You'll also need:
-Soldering Iron
-Solder
-Heat Shrink
-Electrical Tape
-Wire Strippers
uhhh that's all I can think of. :p

Now there are 3 wires coming out of the original harness. With the UK/JDM harness(Not sure) you'll see 4 wires, don't worry 2 of them are ground wires.

Don't mind the red.:tear:

UK(Not sure about JDM)

I sort of cut it before I took the pic, just pretend it's still connected. :)

So now cut off the connector on both the harnesses and cut the insulation off the ends. (Wish i had the other side of the harness, so I don't have to cut off my connectors and solder the wires together :()

Green to green.
White/black to white/black
Green/black to green/yellow

Okay here I'm soldering up the lights that stay on with the 3 clicks. (Whatever it's called) Don't forget to put a Heat Shrink in there!(white tube) Don't want the wires to touch and get a short circuit now. ;)

Now wire up the two ground wires into the one ground wire.

Weeeeeeeeee! It works!

Lets finish this! Wire up the green/black and green/yellow
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w307/Revision5/Wiring/IMG_0748.jpg

It flashes!

Just shrink those heat shrinks, wrap everything up in tape if you want and put everything back together!

Oh yeah, If you mess up on this, it isn't my fault! :p albertgunit10101-14-2009, 11:19 PMcan you make that corner to be your turn signal? coz that is what i was planning to do on mine. but i heard that if i do that the bulb might not last since its small and only have 5 watts. compare to the original turn lights. its big bulb and have 21watts. conor01-16-2009, 12:23 AM^^^ You would have to either find a dual filament bulb that fits that socket or wire the outer bulb to only come on when your turn signal flasher is on. And it would probably look funny since it won't be as bright.

Personally, I installed solid side moldings when I got my clear corners.. so my old side running lights are in the outer housings while the turn signal bulb is where it normally is. They look good as running lights..

Wouldn't work for the UK-spec lights though, since they have both clear and amber housings..

Anyway, a pic of mine:

http://www.thatsnomoon.org/conor/mr2/93v6/pics/fogs2.jpg albertgunit10101-16-2009, 12:56 AMyou dont need the three wire thing. it works the same as youre rear light signal. the rear light signal only have two wires. what im concerned of is, its not going to last long. i mean it will work. all you have to do is rewire the wire that is active for signal to it and youre done. but the bulb is oem and its not made to lit up like that. so i will need a bulb that maybe have a higher wattage or something that can tolerate a flash. honda_bar01-16-2009, 03:12 AMconor, your markers look tight lit up! TintedOutDeuce01-16-2009, 10:46 AMconor, your markers look tight lit up!

I would have to agree. Powered by vBulletin® Version 4.2.5 Copyright © 2026 vBulletin Solutions Inc. All rights reserved.
