o0_disel_0o08-22-2007, 11:39 AMim thinking of puttin the full Veilside body kit on my 91 NA

just wanting some feedback before i splash the cash really
cheers ash:D Ncturnal08-22-2007, 11:55 AMOh boy. Subscribed. http://www.ncturnal.com/smiles/eatingpopcorn.gif Mister2.208-22-2007, 11:59 AMThey are horrible, HORRIBLE. Ugly and HORRIBLE. Did I say horrible yet? Cause they are.

The front bumpers stick out and require you to remove the metal bumper under it = death. They look like every other veilside kit for every other car and it ruines the lines of the MR2.

I was once young and stupid enough to buy the kit myself, luckily I was smart enough to never install it and ended up trading it for a stereo system.

Do yourself a favor and consider not putting a body kit of cheap value over top your more expensive OEM body panels. Upgrade to 94+ specs, you won't regret that, however you almost will certainly regret any body kit, let alone that horrible veilside one. o0_disel_0o08-22-2007, 11:59 AMOh boy. ok thanks for the input see im learning stuff already hence me asking the question, just erm consider im a relative noob to the mr2 scene and please dont send the linch mobs round to my house just yet :) o0_disel_0o08-22-2007, 02:46 PMso could anyone tell me where i could get 94+ oem parts from ive bin searchin the internet for a few hours without any results:( driftmonster08-22-2007, 03:09 PMThe veilside kit is terrible. :) Now you know. But I like the Border MK2 body kits they are sweet. For the OEM 94+ parts try toyota dealerships....specifically our board Sponsor Lithia Toyota, Aaron is a very helpful guy and if he doesnt have the parts you need he can point you to them for sure. Oh and BTW welcome to mr2.com :wavey: o0_disel_0o08-22-2007, 03:14 PMcheers for the reply drift
is there anyother kits i should steer well clear of that anyone knows about so i dont hav to make another one of these posts in the near future driftmonster08-22-2007, 03:19 PMVeilside Mr2 body kit is the communitys Least favorite kit.......It really does look crappy. Unless you are going to buy a mild kit that IS Authentic, They all suck, When I get a MK2 I will go one of 2 ways, Either the 94+ body conversion or border full body kit. If you buy a cheap knock off body kit prepare for a nightmare...........9 times out of 10 thats what you will recieve. Powered by vBulletin® Version 4.2.5 Copyright © 2026 vBulletin Solutions Inc.
