rodd88     $ 0.00 Engine latch wont open The only way that the latch lets go of the hood is if I pull out the entire cable (with the sleeve) and then the latch will release the lid. Any ideas as to how I can fix this?
I have searched, and i even PB Blasted the latch and cable but no luck.
Thanks guys! rodd88     $ 0.00 The interior behind the drivers seat. A broken cable would sound like a sweet fix. I'll take a pic and post it up today if time allows. I'm swamped with school and work. Ocatvios     $ 0.00 im havingn a similar problem. i have to pull the latch all the way multiple time and pop the trunk a bit to grab the lid to force it open.

did you ever find the fix? Reply With Quote 01-13-2012, 12:55 AM #6 Zarek View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message View Blog Entries Whats a shoe? Join Date Nov 2010 Location SoCal VC Area Posts 2,169 Thanks  14 Thanks  68 Thanked in65 Posts Total Contributions For
Zarek     $ 0.00 @ octavios oil the latch and hinges. also if your engine lid sits lower than the panels on each side, you need to twist the bump stops as if you were loosening a bolt and it will raise the lid, and the extra tension will make the lid want to pop up easier.
