I have a problem with my 1991 T-Top that I think is going to turn ugly if it isnt fixed.Right in front of the passenger side T-Top on the little bar of roof that is there it is rotting out. Also this is starting on the drivers side pillar.I need to know what I can do and if I can put in patches off a different car and make it so no one knows it was ever done.Thanks. 1991 MR2 T-Top

erioshi     $ 0.00 IT should be fixable, but depending on where the rust is and how far it's progressed, it might be major surgery. PHOENIX     $ 0.00 if its gone through or you can easily put a plastic hammer through it, you will probably have cut out the rust and weld in new pieces, which then would require a lot of body work.

91MR25TT     $ 0.00 Well I looked at it again and forgot the camera. When I peeled back part of the windshields weatherstrip on the drivers side pillar I could see it is going to begin to rot out not just rust.I know that the top passenger side must be worst right now.I was thinking I have two options besides just trying to slow down the rust. Both require taking out the windshield though but I was thinking of trying to make patches or probally the best option of getting a whole pillar to pillar piece out of another T-top car and cutting it up and only welding in the pieces I need and not completly cut out a section so then the roof doesnt go out of line.Let me know what you guys think. Thanks again. 1991 MR2 T-Top
