BRAUVIC     $ 0.00 Best Site Ever Hey everyone, What’s up? I just want to start off by saying this site is worth the time. It has people who are full of knowledge and advise that a lot of other sites seem to lack. Especially as far as MR-2's go.

I am currently in San Diego and I notice that on about every corner there is some version of the MR-2 as I drive around. Back home (West Bank, New Orleans) I never came across these cars. Just makes for a friendly place and an abundance of people who love the cars we love as well.

I bought my first MR-2 in 2001 from a doctor in North Carolina. Flawless!! 91 T-Top 5-speed N/A Ocean Blue with Metallic flakes that changed it to Purple at the right angle. I fell in love! I detailed that thing every Friday after work. Even the people I worked with loved that thing. October 11th 2002 tragedy struck when a 97 GT Mustang thought he could beat the oncoming traffic only to spin out and advance towards oncoming motorists. First inline for the train wreck was the beautiful blue. His front end ripped off and mine was crumpled up to the windshield. I went into the median and played mud shovel with my T-tops upside down for a few yards. My passenger and I crawled out and ran over to his car to see if he was ok. Total Richard Cranium. I will post pictures of the national travesty as soon as I scan them.

With out missing a step I went on the search for yet another beloved MR-2. 6 months later I found the one I wanted. This time it was the Crimson Red Hard-top 91 5-Speed N/A. Yes, another N/A. The guy had to many cars and needed to make room for his 97 GT Mustang...Strange coincidence. He was the original owner with every document to show. Shortly after I moved to San Diego. Since then I have been enjoying the local roads and gorgeous views. I would love to find the local group out here for the next time they go on a road trip. I have all the time I want.

I hope to learn as much as I am able to from everyone in this site. I am open to new ideas and I can be pretty creative. Feel free to message me and don’t be shy. Constructive criticism is always welcome. Reply With Quote 04-11-2006, 11:53 AM #2 Mister2.2 View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message View Blog Entries Cheese it! Mister2.2     $ 0.00 Welcome to the board! Would love to see some pictures of your first and current MR2s. Really bites that the car got totaled but at least you walked (or crawled?) away.
