PHOENIX     $ 0.00 okay, as long as its not like brake fluid and 1 drop gets on there and your screwed. ALLSHOTUP     $ 0.00 I like my tires to look very black and to not have a whole lot of shine. There for I will spray the Meguiar's dressing on the tire and let it sit for an hour or so before wiping it down. This way I allow it to be absorbed into the rubber.

wallcrawlr     $ 0.00 With all tire products you have to let them sit a bit to "dry" or wipe off the excess.

Cuz as you know itll splatter otherwise.

I use this:

It really works good and last awhile.

Also for a quick application, Ill use this.

I really like all the Mequirs NXT products. Reply With Quote 03-31-2006, 10:19 PM #9 N8s93turbo View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message View Blog Entries Visit Homepage TEAM A.S.S. 91T_SW20     $ 0.00 This is the best ****! ^^^ As I said in the title this is by far the BEST Tire shine I've used..

And I have used all types of shines to find the best overall wet black look and soemthing that doesn't slick off or wash away when it rains..

I've used all meguiar tire shine even their gel.

This one totally out performs all of them. I've been getting alot of praises and asked many times how do i get my tires to look the way they do and stay that way.

Go find them at your local store. Reply With Quote 04-01-2006, 05:06 PM #11 MR2TRD1 View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message View Blog Entries pimpin' valet ;-) Join Date Feb 2005 Location Alpharetta, GA Posts 2,179 Thanks  1 Thanks  37 Thanked in34 Posts Total Contributions For
MR2TRD1     $ 0.00 I read on a Subaru forum that these products actually weaken the side wall of the tire when they are first applied. Alot of guys who do mountain runs had alot of experiene and testing to prove it. It was an interesting article..I'll see if I can find it. blue-sun     $ 0.00 I use Meguiars Hyper Dressing in a 3:1 ratio.

it's a water based dressing, so it won't sling as much or attract dust as much.

While my MR2 isn't daily driven, I have seen 6 weeks out of an application of HD.

I apply it to the tire, then spray an addition 2 sprays to a terry cloth applicator pad and wipe the tire down.

It's not easily found in stores, I buy it buy the gallon concentrated.

Good stuff! Reply With Quote 10-26-2006, 03:01 AM #16 TheAmazingDave View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message View Blog Entries Visit Homepage Cage Fighter Join Date Mar 2005 Location San Jose, CA Posts 1,112 Thanks  13 Thanks  7 Thanked in7 Posts Total Contributions For

Go find them at your local store. I vouch for this stuff. I use it on my Deuces and truck. It's a gel so it goes on smooth and thick and it doesn't fling everywhere when you drive.

The shine lasts so long that after the tires and car get dirty, all you have to do is wash them off and the tires are still shiny.

Like the Meguiar's tire shine, it comes with an applicator sponge thing-a-mabob. Reply With Quote 10-26-2006, 06:50 AM #17 PeStVic View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message View Blog Entries Cage Fighter Join Date Jan 2006 Posts 402 Thanks  8 Thanks  4 Thanked in4 Posts Total Contributions For

blue-sun     $ 0.00 99.9% of tire shine on the market is silicone based, this means that any dust will be attracted to it, the potential for sling-off is higher and the longevity isn't as good as a water based product. Not to mention it's greasy feeling.

Just a little FYI.
