mr2greasemonkey     $ 0.00 black light and coolant leaks If you've ever had the chance to use a leak detection kit. There's always some type of dye you add to fluid. Fortunately, it's just a black light (the ones in the kit are higher powered) so you can buy a cheap one to fit in yr drop light. Coolant turns a bright yellow/green when you shine the light on it. Even more clear if you have amber safety glasses. You can buy the dye seperately to add to the fluid. Good way of pinpointing leaks, make sure to clean the suspect area first and remember leaks always go down ( gravity works ).
