91T_SW20     $ 0.00 Just got my Rims today! (Pics) Well I was gonna hold off till I slapped them on but I got excited

Here are my Rims for my SMG 2. I only got the fronts today but I bought the rears also just waiting for them to come in since they didn't have it in stock. I got 17x7 for the front and 17x9 in the rear I held them up to my car to see how they look and OMG I can't wait to slap them on.... Big thanks and much respect for El Paalo for Helping me out with the Offsets and tire sizes. I'll be going with 205/40/17 and 255/40/17 for the rear. Color of the rims are Hyperblack

They are Enkei's Rpm 2

Cacaman     $ 0.00 Ahhh, I love them! They will definitely compliment the SMG.

I don't think you could have picked a better color for the wheels than Hyper Black. I should have done that My MR2T - Doug

Mister2.2     $ 0.00 Should look pretty nice, when do the rears come in? Should be a big improvement over stock, that's for sure. Which rubber did you go with? are those DR's? I'm looking for the best Dry traction but with some decent wear since It will be used daily. I'll look to get slicks or Dr's on a different wheels for the rears when I start getting engine parts which will be soon

I'll look into them. Anyone else got some advice for tires without breaking the bank? Matt94MR2     $ 0.00 Car and Driver just did a good writeup on performance tires in their December issue. The Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 won overall with the best wet traction and 4th overall dry traction. The Yokohoma Advan Neova AD07 had the best dry traction with the BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KD coming in second. The Hankook Ventus R-S2 Z212 was picked for the best bang for the buck since it was the cheapest tire in the test but was midpack in wet/dry performance. I personally just picked up a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's for my new wheels. They have good traction wet/dry and a 280 treadwear rating vs 200 for the KD's. Then again it rains 9 months out of the year where I live so that definately influenced my decision.
