pies     $ 0.00 Dash lights dull... ok so i have just put in new guages, but the original dash lights are now very sub-standard. is there a way to brighten them up a bit? also i want to install a dimmer wheel for the dash lights.

and finally... changing the color of the dash lights? is this just a simple change of bulbs or is the actual dash colord? Weasy2k     $ 0.00 lol yea check the dimmer wheel...trust me lots of people make that mistake...

there are LED lights you can put in the dash too, only problem is that they can create hotspots in the dash (where one spot is brighter then the other)

some people sand them down to stop that. Reply With Quote 12-30-2005, 02:40 AM #5 pies View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message View Blog Entries The Rubber Chicken! Join Date Jun 2005 Location Wellington, New Zealand Posts 134 Thanks  0 Thanks  1 Thanked in1 Post Total Contributions For

mr2greasemonkey     $ 0.00 No dimmer switch? Bummer. Suppose you could install one off a newer model. And why do you need them brighter or differently colored? PHOENIX     $ 0.00 jdm mr2's dont come with dimmer wheels....or atleast mine doesnt. If you wanted to get one, i would suggest finding a usdm junker and pull the setup from that or post it in the wtb section here and maybe someone has a parts car that has it.

im there with you man, it pisses me off. 2 Beams Engines For Sale! Reply With Quote 12-31-2005, 06:08 PM #8 pies View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message View Blog Entries The Rubber Chicken!
