91T_SW20     $ 0.00 New to the community.. Hey guys, I'm new to the community here and would like to say whats up.

I bought my '91 mr2-T this october and its in immaculate condition and never been modified.. a porche mechanic owned it since it was bought in 91 and it was his 58 year old wife's DD....

Anyways i thought mr2oc was the only forums for the mr2 and it seeme dlike it moves really really slow. This seems like a better board yet I know most people here probably do both....

I hope to get lots of info with my new project as I had to sell my old car (see sig) I've been a honda buff all my tuning life so I'm a NEWB to the setup of toyota's and the mr2 in general.. Most of the terms and ligo i'mma have to get use to and i have read the FAQ's like every good newb should...

I'll post pics later but yeah....hope you guys can help me out and vice versa.. thanks man ....I almost gave up on the mr2 cause I wasn't getting much help at mr2oc... communication with other owners is vital when building for big HP.. problem with having a rare car is not having enough people who have them post their experiences with others cause 1. they don't care 2. not many people have them in the first place.... Ncturnal     $ 10.00 No doubt. Good to have you here. This board was started a little less than a year ago because we didn't like the attitude of most of the mods and several members at mr2oc. We hope you have a better experience here. ALLSHOTUP     $ 0.00 Silver Metallic Grey , Nice cars BTW and welcome. But what you really need to do is paint that Montereo SMG so that you will have a trifecta. Sort of like Ncturnal . Sort of like Ncturnal . LOL LOL I thought SMG=Steel Mistic Grey.......... Anyways, if you didn't already figure it out, SMG is the most sought after color on our cars, IMO. So from the pics I'm assuming your car is stock for right now, and that you like silver cars? Do you still have the DC5? That car is pretty clean also but I bet you had a hard time getting any traction. Those new K-series motors are suppose to be alot better then the b-series. Anyways, welcome to the board and have fun with the new car, I know you will.

ddin't know that alot liked the color....TO me it looks weird? IDK maybe cause I'm stock.. Iw anted to go white or premium white pearl and black wheels....but I'mma get my Work emotion cr's in gunmetal and runt his color first to see what it looks like...

thanks for the compliments guys

and yes traction was a b.... but the K series is the wave of the future for Honda is supercedes the B and H series in every way...More companys are bring and undergoing more research for the car N/A and F/I....more than a hanful have made over 500whp on pump gas and race gas with complety stock interals with a C/R of 11.0-1 . Thats with a custom setup of course and the GT35R....

Be weary of swapped Hatch EG or EK civics out there as they run mid 12's with just a K20a2 (rsx type S motor) BONE STOCK with full interior. And we all know that most hatches these days that are fix uped are gutted... mymr2turbo     $ 0.00 Well I want to be first on the list if you ever do decide to sell the SMG. I wouldn't mind have two deuces. Do you have any big plans for her?

About those hatches. there is a guy named Tom here with a B18C5 in his 92 DX hatch that ran a 13.3 with stock internals. He's quite known on Honda-Tech and ppl from Cali are often shipping their cars out here to him to have service done. He was the only person I trusted when I had my honda. I'm tempted to sell cause I know i can get alot cause the car is so damn mint it looks like it came off the showroom floor. It was Mechanic owned and everything that needed a tune up and change before I bought the car was done. Paint was just done last year so it looks so new!

I do have big plans but i'm tempted cause being stock and engine drives like new that i don't want to mod if I decide to sell. I just got the car in october and i only take it on cruises. I plan on going BIG though this January if I keep the car...

Make me an offer I can't refuse hehe... Reply With Quote 12-07-2005, 03:07 AM #19 Weasy2k View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message View Blog Entries What is an MR2? Join Date Mar 2005 Location Vancouver, BC Posts 8,873 Thanks  33 Thanks  84 Thanked in69 Posts Total Contributions For
