RePete     $ 0.00 Expensive LED tails Anyone seen these before? Pricey as hell but they look terrific.

They're $1,940.00 and they're LED equipped.

V6'er     $ 0.00 There are a few manufacturers of GOOD quality LED lamp assemblies that are direct dropins for 1157's and 1156's. They cost about $20 each, so to convert your MR2 it would cost almost $100. A tad cheaper than the ripoff dorks. V6'er     $ 0.00 Similar, but I remember them having a standard lamp base. I could be wrong though.

The good ones are brighter than an 1157. Reply With Quote 10-16-2005, 01:05 AM #10 jon_mr2 View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message View Blog Entries Visit Homepage Cage Fighter Join Date Sep 2005 Location Kamuela, Hawaii Posts 194 Thanks  2 Thanks  2 Thanked in2 Posts Total Contributions For

mr20nza     $ 0.00 it refers to the newer style in Japan. 94+ tails are kouki tails.

$2000 for taillights, thats rediculous... and they look like stock 94s

mr20nza     $ 0.00 its a "JDM DORIFTO" trend from what I've been seeing. Lot of 240 talk of Kouki and... I forget the older style term.

mymr2turbo     $ 0.00 You'd never catch me pissing away 2K for tails that look stock till they are lit. A friend of mine had ordered the front clear for his G35 and it looks nice but he has - or shall I say his parents - more money then he knows what to do with. As soon as I showed him the site he had placed an order. Again, I don't think any kind of light system is worth that much....maybe if it was HID's or something.

DrPaine     $ 0.00 no offense but I've tried to deal with clearcorners.com on some custom projects and they are just the dumbest company. Their prices are about 4 times higher than actually importing stuff from japan. I dont know how they are still around.

I could build a car out of LED's for $2000! ------
