canadam     $ 0.00 Domestic Market Differences. I'm going to try to compile a list of things that differed between countries in the release of MR2's.

Help me add to the list if you can !

To start:

MKII Canada Vs. USA

-Canadian cars came with a non-airbag steering wheel in 1991, as airbag laws were not in place in the great white north at that time

-The airconditioning system is different in Canadian and American cars, although the final result is the same. No Canadian cars got aircon on the factory line, they were all added as Toyota Genuine Accessories. A nice feature of the Canadian system, is that it is on a clutch, which releases, and allows no robbing of power by the aircon belt when you're really pushing the car. The system installed at the factory did not work like this.

-All Canadian cars had T-Tops and therefore all had 5 speed transmissions.

-Canadian cars all came with foglamps, to comply with Canadian daytime running lamp laws. The foglamps are on whenever the car is running.

There's some more little things, I need to thing of them... Parts for sale: German Radio Trim -- Dandism Glass -- '98+ Steering Wheel -- K-Sport Endlinks -- TRD HIDs -- TRD FPR -- and more!!!
