europa     $ 0.00 The ignition idle speed stabilizer attaches to the throttle body. Coolant circulates inside and it acts like a choke. europa     $ 0.00 Years ago when I had a spare j-spec 4AGZE sitting in the garage, I noticed that the IISS had a different design. It had two water ports that were larger and directed towards the rear of the car. 2fas2c     $ 0.00 Most call that the IACV or Idle Air Control Valve that could be why it's been hard to find, they're really not all that rare. imagemind     $ 50.00 Thanks for that info... I'm going to try to change the title to this thread... but interestingly enough the reason I'm looking for this part is that my local mechanic told me I needed it to solve a acceleration bogging problem...
When I accelerate the car hesitates and then goes, it happens cold , hot , sometimes it runs fine when I really drive hard... but idling its totally fine... They suggested a possible fuel filter or clogged fuel pump something... I just ordered a new fuel filter and fuel pump and see if that solves the problem...
