thanks 00xtremist04-15-2014, 07:59 PMpm sent mr2tim04-22-2014, 07:56 PMHey Polo,

Radio in a race car? Your a man after a rocking good race huh? Only in Miami. :)

FYI Just for other newbees:

If your going "correct" on the rear sunvisor it should have the proper upper (horizontal) "C" pillar trim which will have the sunvisor clips attached to it.

Also both the sloping "C" pillar trim(S) must have the upper pilot hole for the sunvisor locator peg and the inset bolt which is cast into the plastic for the lower attaching bolt which also has a rubber surround.

In lieu of above, gluing the sunvisor in place requires experienced talents.

BTW Polo I've raced at the Loxahatchee Airport, we used to rent a runway for speed trials.

Ps still looking for a radio.
The sun visor is for the race car, I got some metal c pillar trim which I am going to tack Weld on and then figure out visor mounts.
I live in loxahatchee! Where is the airport!!! I can't imagine where it would be! Zoar04-28-2014, 05:35 PMI've got the 1986 mk1 stereo (cassette player), the guy before me boxed it up and put it in the trunk before he put in a new ken wood. I can plug it in and pop in a tape to see if it still works, if its in as good condition as the rest of the car (77k original miles) I'm sure its fine. PM sent. Zoar04-29-2014, 02:53 AMI got pics… this site isn't letting me upload them though… also, it looks like it might have been damaged, it is darker on the upper right corner of the display. I'll plug it in and check it out in a week or so after finals. Kelman8104-29-2014, 07:10 AMI have an analog tune cassette I pulled form a one owner 86 if interested.
