eckoman_pdx10-05-2013, 12:41 AMI'm looking for a running spare Gen 2 long block in decent running condition. Not looking to spend a ton, I just have 2 spare E153 transmissions and I'd like a spare long block to go with them. Doesn't need to be a complete swap (in fact I'd rather it not be a complete swap since it's not needed), I just need the long block.

I'm not looking to spend a lot. I don't mind local pickup, or even non-local pick-up. I may be willing to drive down in Nor Cal, up into Northern Washington or out towards Idaho or further if the price is right.

I am located in Portland, Oregon but as I said I am willing to drive to pick one up. If you have something, please let me know. canadam10-06-2013, 04:03 AMJames,
I have a good JDM Gen II with ~122,000 kms on it that I'm looking to let go for cheap to make space in the garage.
What's the chances you have a Vancouver run in your system? I'm 500 miles from there, but it'd be the only way to get it south cheap. Once you cross the border things get much more pricey.

I have a block, crankshaft (still attached to good rods with good 5k mile bearings), pistons, rods, and everything for a cylinder head except the head block near Seattle, WA. Ill be down in your neck of the woods once or twice this month.

Adam,

I'm definitely interested! My wife and I were actually considering to go up into Victoria sometime in mid-December for Christmas, but this Government shutdown thing has that in limbo since we have to get our passports and it's more problematic with the government shut down. I have no problem driving up right up to boarder in Blaine, WA if you can meet me there, I just can't cross into Canada until I get a passport. Let me know if that's doable for you. Blaine is about 30 miles south of Vancouver. I'm not sure how much more pricey it gets for you to meet in Blaine vs Vancouver, BC though.

Hmm, sounds like it's the short block? The everything from the block (bottom half) with no cylinder head? canadam10-06-2013, 05:59 PMAdam,

James I was going to ship to the border, I'll be driving to Vancouver next week, but in a car and I can't bring the motor.
