tucky09-10-2006, 01:20 PMI'm thinking of changing my supercharger pulley to a 5psi pulley. My calculations are this will take the power up to 283 bhp and 301 ft/lbs of torque. Does anyone know what the 1mz engine is capable of handling, will 5 psi be ok? Also I'm running a water injection set up.

Stock 1mz, intake, full exhaust, 6psi pulley, piggyback tuning. Pretty much the most you'll make on a 1mz on the trd charger without a rebuild. I didn't say totally safe at that. If somebody dug that solara out on solaraguy, I put odds saying it's blown up by now if they guys been driving it hard.

Water injection. It saves lives.


287 bhp and 294 ft/lbs
I'm not going to go look, but they're is no way they're talking about the 3.0L charger. The stock pulley is only rated to make 240bhp.
