View Full Version : WTB: Your USED 5SFE O2 Sensor!!!

PETC09-10-2006, 11:48 AMThat's right! Sell me your used WORKING 5SFE upstream O2 sensor for cheap!

I'll also accept a downstream O2 sensor for cheap, as long as I can convert it to wire in to the upstream electrical connector!

Me = Does not want to pay 100 ******* dollars for a new sensor because I'm not even sure if my header is going to let it live for very long anyways!

Thanks! Everett09-16-2006, 05:15 PMIf your still looking I have a used one with about 3k miles on it. $55 shipped MR2TRD109-19-2006, 02:09 PMI have one that worked. The wire was tapped for an air/fuel ratio a few years ago when I wanted a light show..haha. I've done a swap since then. $25.00 shipped. Not sure of mileage..it worked though. PCx18812-01-2006, 12:20 PMwhats teh diff. between upstream and downstream. PETC12-01-2006, 02:51 PMThe downstream sensor is after the cat and has two wires, a ground and a signal wire, it might even have three. If it does have three than it's a heated sensor, but I don't think it does.

On a single wire O2 Sensor (IE: The flanged upstream sensor) the ground is the casing itself, and it grounds itself to the manifold. The signal wire is the wire that runs to the connector itself.

Only OBDIII MR2s came with a downstream I think... that or only California MR2s. Which doesn't make much sense to me as to why they'd include a downstream hole on aftermarket manifolds/b-pipes because if it is only California MR2s, they wouldn't be allowed to use the part anyways. Final1312-10-2006, 02:14 AMCars in california have two sensors as well as 2 cats...smog regulations are more stringent there which requires the addition of the sensors. I think alot of the tuner market is in california manufacturers arent going to make two types if one product forks for everyone. PETC12-10-2006, 02:30 AMThe thing is though, if you have this product, you fail VI. It's not legal in California. So why bother putting the extra hole? PS: downstream is 2-wire. Powered by vBulletin® Version 4.2.5 Copyright © 2026 vBulletin Solutions Inc. All rights reserved.
