View Full Version : hidden bolts?

Datz03-04-2013, 09:57 AMok so my front bumper is pushed back into the car on the drivers side, so i wanna take the bumper off and pull and/or shim it out to where it should be. but everytime i take some bolts/nuts off i find more, i have like 20 bolts/nuts and am still finding more.
so can anyone maybe tell me where the real hidden bolts are?
im sure im removing some i dont need to and am taking way way longer than book time on this.
if possible respond quick because im gonna spend the morning bouncing from the car to the comp. so i think ill get it in 3-6 or more hours. BlackWidowMR203-12-2013, 02:37 PMI said the same thing when the body kit was being put on lol. You're gonna have to remove the plastic piece below the headlights, that protects them while they are down. There is a bracket in there, you should spot it easily after removing that piece. Then all the ones under the hood. The braces below. And the bolts around the grille piece. Datz03-14-2013, 07:07 PMthanx man, it was a pain (specially cause my friend had my jack and couldnt use a lift, ramps, ect.) but its done except i need A eyebrow thingy cause once i spaced the bumper out the piece was all messed up and didnt fit right, so GONE! Bigbacon03-24-2013, 09:08 AMthis is why I don't want t deal with taking my front lip off to fix it. like a million bolts holding that thing on. BlackWidowMR203-25-2013, 01:31 PMThe lip is easy, aside from rusted hardware. The bumper is what sucks. Bigbacon03-25-2013, 01:59 PMThe lip is easy, aside from rusted hardware. is it? it looks quite annoying but maybe I'm not looking at the correct hardware. BlackWidowMR203-25-2013, 04:49 PMYeah I had the grill and lower half off in a matter of minutes. But when taking the upper half off, I had many a rusty bolt and broke about 3 or 4 of them. Powered by vBulletin® Version 4.2.5 Copyright © 2026 vBulletin Solutions Inc. All rights reserved.
