Nine-Breaker06-29-2012, 10:56 AMI just got myself a set of OEM triangle wheels for my 1986 Toyota MR2 NA. Sadly, my lug nuts from my steelies will not work and I need these Toyota specific ones.

Anyone have a full set of lug nuts? I need all 16...

Does anyone know the thread pitch and stuff? I think it was M12x1.50 but I'm not 100% sure.... macatak06-29-2012, 12:12 PMtried the dealer?

Manufacture notes:ALUMI WHEEL,PLATED Nine-Breaker06-29-2012, 01:01 PMI actually just went to the dealer and asked about it. They want like $10 for EACH lug nut. I need all 16 so thats like $180 after tax. If i bought them from Toyota's site, it would have been like $5 each but still adds up to like $90.

And then i thought to myself, who would want to sell the lug nuts off of their car making it not rollable?

After all that, i bought ebay ones... Im on my phone so i cant link it but its item number 180745755393 on ebay. macatak06-29-2012, 02:01 PMthose should work
don't remember exactly but do the MK1A's use the short or long wheel nuts?

tip
when you get them take one down to your local tool store and buy an exact fit thinwall
1/2" deep socket just for them and keep it in the car with an 18 or 24" flex bar

won't seem important till the first time your changing a tire in the pissing rain up on Hwy 20 at 9:00pm in early November Nine-Breaker06-29-2012, 02:09 PMThanks for the tip! I already have those as im a technician at firestone.

I have a BluePoint 19mm-21mm flip socket, 24" breaker bar, and a nice torque wrench. Wheel torque is 76 ft lbs by the way. Dj_syco12-09-2012, 02:20 AMever find out the thread pitch? Seems like no one likes to say what it actually is. :/ Nine-Breaker12-09-2012, 02:32 AMever find out the thread pitch? Seems like no one likes to say what it actually is. :/
