Thanks for your interest. Ncturnal04-20-2012, 07:02 PMVery nice! mr2tim04-20-2012, 08:30 PMHave you ever thought of entering this car in a National Car Show?

At the recent Barrett-Jackson show here much value was inferred in cars that had won these National Level car shows, they garnered much higher sale prices..

Many car shows have a 25 year threshold which means your car could qualify.

(Suggestion? Ditch the pictures with the bra on it's tacky.
You'll get better response without it.) palos04-20-2012, 10:52 PMIt's a local car. If anyone is serious, I could take an initial look at the car. traintech8604-20-2012, 11:53 PMBra's on cars look horrible. And then when you finally remove it, it looks even worse! Zarek04-21-2012, 05:48 AMAren't those side skirts 87+? jasonhoward6404-21-2012, 07:46 AMWow, very impressive! It's probably fair to say that this is one of the lowest mileage MKI MR2s out there! dragraceman2104-21-2012, 08:53 AMDefinately looks like a honey, but the bra has definately trashed the paint up front, I know I had one on my 85. analogbandit04-22-2012, 01:04 PMDefinately looks like a honey, but the bra has definately trashed the paint up front, I know I had one on my 85.
The bra has not trashed the paint!

For all of the miles this car was seriously driven, I always made sure that the bra was absolutely clean, and every time the car and bra were washed, and the bra put back on, there was always ample wax on the front of the car to protect the finish. analogbandit04-22-2012, 01:07 PMAren't those side skirts 87+?
No this is absolutely original 1986 as purchased. jon11904-26-2012, 08:25 AMSweet car! How are the seats under those covers?

GLWS

Jon kevAW1104-26-2012, 10:41 AMAren't those side skirts 87+?

86 was the year toyota just kinda drew parts from the 85 and 87 out of a hat for each car. mine came with 85 e-brake handle, 87 side vent, and 85's lack of sideskirts.

amazing looking car sir. glws analogbandit04-28-2012, 10:53 AMThe original seats are in great shape. Remember, there's less than 23K miles on the car. The seat covers were in place for maybe half of those. q-authority05-01-2012, 06:23 PMYou're going to need a better set of pictures than those when asking that sort of price. Car should be shown without the bra and the seat covers. Especially the seat covers, as those just look tacky. Need better interior pics, plus engine bay and trunk pics as well. traintech8605-02-2012, 07:48 PMI realize i came off like a **** in my first post. This is a great looking car and i hope it finds a good home! Buddha05-05-2012, 12:22 AMYou're going to need a better set of pictures than those when asking that sort of price. Agreed. Instead of defending yourself with words, why don't you post pictures? For $13K, you're gonna need good quality, focused pictures. Top, bottom, side, engine, full interior, trunk, frunk, underside of car. You should know this already. It's a very old gripe on the Internet. EazyJ05-05-2012, 01:23 PM... Especially the seat covers, as those just look tacky. ...

Give him a break ... the fuzzy dice class it up! It looks like a nice ride. If I were still in Denver, I would come check it out at least to report on it - $13,000 is waaaay over my price range though. GLWS! Ginger Stig05-05-2012, 11:07 PMWow, very impressive! I believe I own one of the lowest mileage MK1 MR2s out there, 16k and it's my daily, but I'm not trying to show you up your car is very nice my question is how did you value your car at $13k? Powered by vBulletin® Version 4.2.5 Copyright © 2026 vBulletin Solutions Inc. All rights reserved.
