samman25803-31-2012, 12:06 PMi have a chance to buy a DD 1008b 8 inch sub, and it sounds pretty good, i just don't know if it will fit behind the passenger seat if i do a reverse direction mount into the box? (cone end goes into the box) Datz04-15-2012, 10:49 PMtheres about 5" of space behind the seat (depending on your recline position) so if you wanna reverse mount the speaker theres no way itll fit. if you mount it magnet in the box it will. It's a Clarion with a 3.25" mounting depth. That was all fine, but the above the surface portion was like almost 7/8". So, I cut the hole larger and cut a ring to go in the box so that everything was recessed. I also cut enough off of the sides that it could sit on the floor and about 3/4" off of the back.
