I bought some super bright Alpena LED Max Strips, and he installed them. He endured the rain in order to install the strips.

We left the smaller ones pending for now, I'm going to wait till the night so I can see where to mount the small 8 inch strips so that they don't bother me, and so that its not distracting.

For now, I am totally happy with the end result, and will post pictures in the night when you can tell the difference.

I decided to mount one of the 8 inch strips under the steering wheel, so that it'll light how my lap. The other, will go under the glove box so that it lights up the passengers lap Iroke03-17-2012, 07:59 PMGlad he didnt end up being a murderer Hgaara03-17-2012, 10:19 PMGlad he didnt end up being a murderer

Looks pretty good, do they have a switch? or those are on all the time when you have your headlights on? RuggishBone03-18-2012, 11:54 PMi installed it to the headlight switch w/ a kill switch Hgaara03-19-2012, 07:28 AMHgaara you live in socal also?

Yeah I'm in the san Fernando valley.

And he put them on a switch so even if the head lights are on, I can turn them on and off.

I bought the carpets from twosrus and man they give the finishing touch to the floors and with some white led to light up the floors a little when the door opens, along with the dome light would look pretty stock... Right? muffinman04-23-2012, 10:16 AMWhat if I wanted to put white led to light up when the door opens.

Either tie them in to the footwell lights or run a new fused 12 volt with a relay the door switch. traintech8605-03-2012, 07:17 AMhey RuggishBone, How much time does it take for a cluster LED setup like you have set up? I don't know what color yet but i just want the cluster and center console. No foot well. How much do you expect it would cost including parts and your labor? RuggishBone05-03-2012, 10:10 AMcost me $5 for the dash bulbs from ebay, and its easy to DIY.

let me tell you how i did it.

First In Blue you remove the two screws on top of the metal roof piece

Second in Green you Remove 4 bolts and the screw on top

An last In Yellow Remove all 3 connections from the back of the cluster

then you will be able to slide the cluster about 5 more inches without removing the spedo wire then work between the glass
