I took a stone on my front left fog light. It's a steering fog light and came stock on the car. What will it take to replace it? It's the bulb that moves rather than the housing, from what I understand.

The lens is only cracked. Would I be better off to get my buddy who owns a glass shop to cut the lens off and put a good one on from a regular usdm fog light?
