3azyy8902-09-2012, 03:56 PMHey guys My windshield have a small crack. I was wondering if local shop do replacement glass for mr2. I wasnt too sure if they carry mr2's windshield glass. I never experience this for and how much will this cost? 85silverna02-09-2012, 04:23 PMCall around. Mine was done last year for $160. That's including the guy coming out and doing it while I worked.
Another guy quoted me $150, but I wasn't going to turn down the fist guy when he gave a fair offer.

That's including the weatherstripping, rust preventor, the windshield with the tint strip, but +tax graywolf196902-09-2012, 04:27 PMthay can make it for you car when i had my supra done it cost me 230.00 to get it all done and you need to make sure that the person that puts it in is not a dum ass he did not put it in right and i had to have it redone but the guy thay had there got fired so keep a eye out when there puting it in. When I replaced the glass in my hardtop, I had to pay the deductible which was $300 at the time (2005-ish). The windshield itself was a Toyota OEM unit and it cost about $900, over a thousand now. I insisted & argued successfully on OEM vs generic because I found the replacement units were wavy looking and didn't have the visual clarity of the OEM glass. Have to pay extra to get the oem weatherstripping though.
