View Full Version : Show Off : True Auto Windows

Oteck02-04-2012, 10:27 PM*Disclaimer*
This is not a DIY just a teaser.... i won't be making one for some selfish reason. (also because i don't want people making money off my sacrifices)

Goal 1 : Get auto up/down on the passenger side
Goal 2 : Have something no one else has :D
Goal 3 : Make you all feel inferior :D

Now the precious sacrifices, i've bought some tidbits to start with like the door trim for fitting. I'm doing both ways from what i said on a different ways but at the end these switches cost serious $$$ and hard to find bits so this is why i won't be making any DIY's.

Video in action comes later when i get my stuff together (when i get off my ass)

No worries though, My mouth is closed. Oteck02-10-2012, 12:29 AMI just read the diagrams and it's quite a blow to my project. These damn things connect to the multiplex ugh. The only way these can now work is with DEI modules CJMR2T02-10-2012, 08:53 AMJoe, you sure??? Granted I haven't looked over the diagrams in a long time for the car that I'm pretty sure you using them from but I dont recall them being part of the multiplex (could very well be wrong here though as its been probably 4yrs since I looked at what I think your looking at). te51levin02-10-2012, 07:10 PMGoal 3 : Make you all feel inferior :D^The reason Joe posts anything - he doesn't feel good about himself until he has irritated someone else.

Better luck next time. 85silverna02-10-2012, 07:15 PMeasiest way to get auto up:

seriously though, I hope you can figure this out. Oteck02-10-2012, 10:23 PM^The reason Joe posts anything - he doesn't feel good about himself until he has irritated someone else.

Better luck next time.

I irritate the mk1 guys enough, thats fine :) Theres already a solution but it's a drastic change to the whole system so i can get the auto stop if it jams WrenchswingeR02-11-2012, 01:04 AM^The reason Joe posts anything - he doesn't feel good about himself until he has irritated someone else.

^heh. This mod would cost a small fortune..u need control modules and window motors with with built-in limit switches to set the proper up/down positions. Also cars with auto up/down frameless windows such as the mr2 use automatic window cinch features while opening and closing the door for a tight seal. Look at the power windows wiring diagram for a 2008 infiniti G37 sport coupe ...its quite elaborate. DB802-11-2012, 01:10 AMI really just cant imagine how you gonna list your car up for sale (if at all it does).....

It will have all the possible feature a "modern" car has and MORE ! ! ! !

Good job :) Oteck02-11-2012, 03:59 AMmaybe my next mod would be a lexus emblem? 85silverna02-11-2012, 10:36 AMOr switch all the interior screws to gold? Jordanowski02-22-2012, 01:42 AMi make the bitches right bitch and roll it down whenever i please

(sometimes i make them roll it down even if i dont want it down >:D) Oteck02-24-2012, 01:23 AMAs an extension to the auto windows. newer, quieter, faster, motors

1993 decrepit mr2 motor on the left vs new motor to the right (still uploading)
