just_ace10-19-2011, 07:35 PMi should be picking up my redtop eng/box/ecu package (ex 97+st202) in the next couple weeks.

as i'll only be using the engine mainly, as such the rest will be up for sale.

headers: i guess only useful for those with a greytop wanting some cheap ponies?

redtop manual ECU, going by other posts i think they're $300+post

GI: redtop COP, i may or may not use these, i have dirty GM coil's i was going to use, but with the fancy top cover etc i'm not sure if they'll suit or if the factory COP's will provide enough grunt.

the gearbox, as i didn't get a "clip" i have noway at this stage to determine if it's LSD or not, it's from a 97+ st202 going by the ecu part number, but i only have the "importers word" that it's LSD. which i'm taking with a cube of salt.

all parts located in Westerna australia BonzaiCelica10-19-2011, 11:45 PMyou'll know you have helical lsd if your transmission looks like this :

cheers. i'll have to check it out later i guess. MANDALAY10-20-2011, 04:02 AMFYI the COPS are very good just remember they are 4 wire.
With the OEM ECU the 4th wire tells the ECU that it has fired , dont need that with Aftermarket unless you have a great ECU and log it. just_ace10-20-2011, 06:39 AMThe gm coils are 4 wire as well. So has someone here used the stock cops with 20+psi/300kw without issues? Overheating or spark blowing out etc? BonzaiCelica10-21-2011, 01:12 PMI'm 100% sure of it!!!!!! terryo02-21-2012, 07:05 AMdo you have the headers for sale?? Powered by vBulletin® Version 4.2.5 Copyright © 2026 vBulletin Solutions Inc.
