Organized_Noise08-02-2011, 11:27 AMJust thought i should document the progress of my JDM deuce :D

90' N/A Hardtop, 3S-GE

got the car with a few 'modifications' :ugh:

- generic jdm coilovers... the most uncomfortable things ever
- some sort of home-made air intake system

When i first saw her :thumbdown

-busted tyres and drive belt
- wrong alternator
- fault air con system.... unacceptable for a tropical country :(:(

Mr.beams08-02-2011, 04:56 PMAwesome look! I'd change the color of the wheels to original silver though. I do love modenas tho! Organized_Noise08-02-2011, 05:32 PMYeah.... i've been thinking about cleaning the tint and restoring the wheels also.... Its too hot to scrap the tint, so that's a keeper!

The wheels... Maybe if i got some time on my hands... Here's a pic of the car when the original owner had it... (not the half-wit i bought it from) :p

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a219/Baby--Boy/mr23.jpg Maruki-kun08-02-2011, 09:15 PMI want your rims. I'm a HUGE fan of vintage rims :D Sh0ty08-02-2011, 10:19 PMThose wheels would look the tits in silver on a red car! Mr.beams08-03-2011, 03:10 AMman... I defff think you should take it back to OG status on the wheels!!! I've owned sooo many sets of rare wheels... to say the least, they hold there value in gold when left original... I have a set of Tom's C7r's on my 2 right now.. lol. I just sold my buddy my set of Modenas for my honda the other day lol... anyways I def dig your 2 and where your going with it!!! Organized_Noise08-05-2011, 10:06 AMThanks for the response guys... got the distributor issue sorted out, she's driving fine now. All thats left is some preventative maintenance; hoses etc then its on to modifications.

for now, she's perfectly fine sitting at home with her two sisters :D

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a219/Baby--Boy/mil.jpg WrenchswingeR08-07-2011, 10:39 PMya mon..i love those wheels. ferrari all the way. Nice 2, now throw a 3sgte in it serjey1508-08-2011, 12:18 AMMAn that wet sand and buff did alot! Looks awesome man Organized_Noise08-31-2011, 02:21 PMSadly this car will be sold and the new owner should be taking delivery tomorrow.

I just don't have the patience to build/restore this vehicle fully. Everything needed has to be ordered online; from brake pads to oem springs... At the end of the day, i just don't have the patience to follow through. :( It will be sadly missed. serjey1509-07-2011, 12:29 AMWHERE CAN I GET THOSE SEATS! THEY ARE SOOOOO SEXY!!!!!!! I AM SOOO JEALOUS! darklord03-07-2012, 01:13 AMSorry to see her go. I know what you mean on the parts buying but what you forget is that in Jamaica our mechanics can interchange parts from corollas and other toyotas to fit the deuce and what can't be interchange or repaired can be rebuilt. Only certain critical parts have to be ordered. Trust me I know. Had rack and piñon rebuilt some years ago, saved me tons in shipping and custom. Had various parts like ball joints used from the sv40's Toyota camry ( japan domestic). The deuce is a Toyota. Jamaica is Toyota country.
