View Full Version : maintance issues with v6 swap?

kszx06-08-2006, 01:58 PM1mz motor does it have any problem with regular maintance? like simple maintance anything hard to do or to get to? Brad Bedell06-12-2006, 11:56 AMEverything except for the spark plus is easier to maintain than the 3sgte. Before I had a supercharger on mine, I did a timing belt in just over an hour.

Keep the oil changed and make sure you swap the PCV valve every couple of oil changes like you're supposed to and things will work out well. The V6 tends to sludge up worse than the 4 cyl for some reason if you don't keep the oil changes on schedule.
