frank 11MR21107-15-2011, 09:49 PMNot a good moment or something with seller... I text the guy asking him some basic question about the car, like anyother person would before purchasing. The seller wasn't nice at all, I ask if the car could be driving from where is located to houston. The seller response was "its a 85" so I ask if the car was a 85 or a 89, the seller response was "no deal". If someone wants to sell a car, you have to be ready for people to ask questions about it, even if they are stupid. If I recall that what a sell person do answers the customers questions, if you can't answer them then be honest and just say I don't know or come up with something but don't be rude to them. I was going to purchase the car at the asking price since is already a good deal, but maybe the seller thought I was a kid or I was just wasting his time who knows. I'm not new to the mr2's, I might be new to this forum but not for the deuce. So if the seller can't answer basic questions like does it has any major problems or is the title clear, ect. buyer beware

the seller is shady. my friend contact the seller and ask if the car was a 89 sc. and was told it was a 85. after many unanswered question. the seller call the deal off. one of the question that was ask was.. if the car is driverable from state to state. never got a reply back. this is when the seller started being rude. my friend ask.. if it's a 85 mkI. why would you posted up for sale as a 89. again.. no answer.

the way i see it. if it's too good to be true. it is... FUBAR mr207-16-2011, 10:40 AMwell, i guess if its too good to be true, then it is.

GLWS jon11907-18-2011, 07:13 PMThe car is obviously an 89 as it has the color matched door handles, mirrors and the LED spoiler. SC's were only produced in 88 and 89. The car looks to be a steal even if it needs a few repairs. The fact that it's automatic will turn most people off (although I'd love to find an auto for my wife, Cali is far from Montreal though!!!).
