View Full Version : WTB 1991 engine/tranny

stfu06-01-2006, 06:03 PMlike i said im looking for a motor transmission for my 91...would really like to change car over to turbo...new to this type of car 5FistsoftheNorthStar06-05-2006, 10:26 PMI am dropping my 91T. Ill be including the engine and non-lsd 5spd tranny. All that comes with is: engine harness w/extra engine harness, axles, brakes, rebuilt upgraded ct26 turbo w/.50 compressor wheel done by Turbonetics, stock exhaust, stock intercooler w/spal fan, twos "r" us valve cover hex bolts, gen3 JDM shift knob, manual boost controller, shocks with gen3 oem strut inserts, JDM Gen3 oem springs, red painted heat resaistant brake calipers with TRD emblems, and plenty more. Its basically what you get in a clip without the clip, so you'll only have to do 1 engine drop instead of 2.

Let me know...:D

P.S. Welcome to the world of MR2's...where traction comes with the territory and speed is the luxury. Oh yeah turbo is better! 5FistsoftheNorthStar06-06-2006, 05:37 PMI'll sell it to you for $1200 plus shipping. smashingj06-06-2006, 09:16 PMI have a '91 NA car that is now a parts car. I'll sell it for $500 if you pick it up or have it shipped. It's in NW Ohio. I'll attach a picture of it's current status. stfu06-07-2006, 06:21 PMLane's can you email me pictures of what i would be geting?

cookie2735@yahoo.com 5FistsoftheNorthStar06-07-2006, 10:50 PMI'll get them to you tomorrow. I just got it out of the engine bay. Woohoo!!! stfu06-08-2006, 07:56 PMPending that i would buy this from you how long would you think it would be to drop it and get it running?...oh and was the everything working correctly when you pulled it? 5FistsoftheNorthStar06-08-2006, 11:19 PMIt ran fine and strong, but I did have an electrical fire in the engine fuse box due to a bad ground. But I do have a spare fuse box and engine harness that goes from the engine fuse box all the way to the kick panel by your feet that will come with.

As far as the drop. It took me 24hrs to drop my engine with no experience before and a write up to reference to. You can get it running in no time as long as you put enough time and effort into it. You'll need an ECU pin out diagram of your ECU and a 91T ECU, so that you can get all the wiring correct, and if you run into any problems along the way. There's plenty of people here who can help, cause there's alot of folks who have done NA to Turbo swaps before and swaps in general. I'm sure my engine will start up as soon as you get everything hooked and filled up correctly.

I'm sorry I totally forgot to get you the pics and went straight to dropping my fuel tank. I'm still in the process of installing a 255 fuel pump, and I still have yet to drop my Gen3T engine out from it's body. I will definitely get you the pics tomorrow first thing in the morning. So be sure to check your email and this thread. Thanks.

I'll give you some new NGK spark plug wires too since nobody wants to buy them. 5FistsoftheNorthStar06-09-2006, 11:28 AMHere are the pics:

I'll include 2 oem intercoolers one USDM gen2 and one JDM Gen3, crossmember, turbo axles, again everything in a clip with out the body panels.

I'll include a blitz nur spec exhaust for an extra $450 instead of the oem exhaust. Or both for $525!

This is a clearout sale! I need to get everything that I don't need out of my garage, so there's less to clean up afterwards. :D
