kevAW1105-25-2011, 07:16 PMIf the stars align I will be buying 2 mr2's next week. The 86 is a parts car that needs very little to get going, but more than I can spare at the moment and I have no room for 2 of them. I only want/need one of these cars (the one that runs and drives) and I'm curious to see if there would be any interest in the parts car. If I can get my money's worth I will buy these since he's hesitant to separate them.

1986 n/a hardtop, automatic, 58,000 actual miles, don't know the paint code but it's the lighter blue, was told interior is very good condition. He was going to trade the dash into the running one.

What it needs to run (as told by the current owner):
-battery
-alternator
-2 plug wires
-fuel readout bobber
-driver side headlight
-toe in toe out link

What it needs to be perfect:
-front bumper
-hood
-rust/paint fixed

Another part that would be up for grabs is an extra c50 transmission that needs the mounts welded back on. He sheared them off with a sudden switch from ice to traction in the winter. Tranny has 120k on it. kevAW1105-26-2011, 03:11 AMi know someone has to be interested in this. i know it's an auto, but if you do the work yourself, a few hundred bucks and you have a 58,000 mile mr2 to keep or flip for a sizeable profit. sixstar05-26-2011, 12:14 PMI may be... pics would be nice though.
