Dance_Business05-22-2006, 02:58 AMAnd would the board have a suggestion/preference/rule of thumb for which aftermarket ECU for the 5VZ-FE / CT-26A setup I have? I'm learning about it all 1 piece at a time. G3aR05-24-2006, 11:20 PMpm weasy2k about it. he deals a lot with the v6 stuff Weasy2k05-30-2006, 11:13 AMYou can use almost anything, from the hydra nemisis to megasquirt to my own perfect power XMS.

THere is nothing plug and play out there for these engines yet but i hope to change that soon. I am currently working on a plug and play setup for the 5vz and XMS unit.

wires are fun Dance_Business05-30-2006, 11:33 AMNo PNP? Does that mean someone will get many of my hard earned $$$ to play splice and dice? Since you know the layout of this particular vehicle, what kind of cash hit should I expect? Claudio RX-706-01-2006, 12:04 AMGuys, i can pretty much do any vehicle into a Plug N Play application with Haltech ECUs, i just worked on Brian (Ncturnl) Hill's Grey 94 MR-2 and the results where great, using a Haltech E6X with a custom patch harness i fabricated using Obd1 styled connector (female ECU connectors) similar to the ones found on MK3 supras or Mk2 MR-2s.

Contact me if you need more info on this. Weasy2k06-02-2006, 11:22 AMWhat i meant to say is no there is no plug and play unit off the shelf yet...however as Claudio mentioned some delaers like himself and I make the plug and play harnesses.

I will have a line of them coming out later in the year. Powered by vBulletin® Version 4.2.5 Copyright © 2026 vBulletin Solutions Inc. All rights reserved.
