My 87 parts NA ignitor is labeled 89620-17020 and uses coil # 19070-16020 just so to get that out there for everyone.

The SC cars use Ignitor #89620-12270 with coil # 19070-15120

I'm no genius but they appear not to interchange based on Toyota #'s shown here.??

To address Smokes last post- No sir your dead wrong.

The SC igniton system is waaay the hell different than the NA ignition--- BIG TIME --
The SC ignition uses a double pickup in the distributor and is not in any way interchangeable with the NA dizzys even tho they LOOK the same.

Given that, the ignitor will not be interchangeable with any NA single pickup system.

BTW Ditto for the alternators too. NO interchageability.
