Thanks for looking. Any and all input is appreciated. mr2918002-02-2011, 09:28 PMDamn clean!!! Enough said! rcracin02-02-2011, 09:53 PMNice tires. Not digging the rims. Upgrade to 93+ brakes and throw in a Kaaz 1.5 ways LSD since I'm guessing you auto x by the brake pads & tires.

You can upgrade to gen3 electronics if you want to ditch the AFM.

I have a full KO Intercooler kit that I'm looking to get rid of if you need.

I really like the lines of your car and how everything fits so perfectly. (fenders, head lights, bumper, hood) Ben02-02-2011, 10:16 PMNice and clean  Bak@EMSPowered02-02-2011, 11:17 PMLooking great Armin. Whenever you're ready for those next upgrades let me know. We usually have extra CT20b's and LSD transmissions. And we always have clutches, flywheels, and intercoolers. ARMIN02-03-2011, 12:08 AMThanks guys. The car has never been in an accident so that explains why the lines of the car fit the way they do. I'm still on the fence about my rims and about updating the tailights. The rims were $400 new so I could sell them and if I want to switch things up. I'm just not sure if mesh style rims go well with MR2s. And if I do get the newer tailights I'll still be keeping the '91 center piece with the illuminated name plate I got from Ben.

Couple of questions:
-Are 93+ brakes a night and day difference? Because they won't clear my stock rims and those are the ones I use around winter time.
-Is the Kaaz 1.5 way LSD better than the OEM LSD?
-How do I go about upgrading the Gen3 electronics to get rid of the AFM?

baktasht, I will definitely be getting in contact with you in the near future. Bak@EMSPowered02-03-2011, 12:19 AMTo do Gen3 electronics you'll need a plugnplay harness, a gen3 ECU, a Gen3 MAP sensor, Gen3 cams, GM temp sensor, and Gen3 intake temp sensor, and finally, Gen3 injectors.

The Kazz is a nice unit, personally I prefer how smooth the OEM LSD is.

93+ turbo brakes are definitely nicer. But if your wheels don't clear them just go for some good quality pads/rotors, flush your brake fluid out with some synthetic fluid, and get braided steel brake lines. It won't be equivalent to 93+ brakes, but it'll be far better than stock 91 brakes. ARMIN02-03-2011, 12:42 AMYeah I think I'll hold off on 93+ brakes until I graduate and get a real daily driver. How much of a difference do Gen3 electronics make? I'm looking to do my "rebuild" in early May so I'm trying to make a concrete list of things I want to get done while the engine is out. Bak@EMSPowered02-03-2011, 12:45 AMGen2 electronics/fuel support up to around 270-290rwhp (with the proper turbo, intercooler, etc...)

Gen3 electronics/fuel support up to around 300-350rwhp (with the proper turbo, intercooler, etc...) ARMIN02-03-2011, 01:12 AMGood to know. Much appreciated. mr302-03-2011, 08:01 AMI for one love the rims on the car. I think they fit the car's style. They are kind of old but new like the car is.
