I'll spare you the details since you are either the kind of person who sees the value in something like this or not, and nothing I say will change that, although I'm sure it's pretty safe to say everyone has spent more than the cost of this event on their cars at some point. I'll be there the whole weekend. Let me know if you plan to attend. the2ndr05-03-2006, 08:39 AMtake notes and tell me what happened:) Sometimes people tell you things you already know. I mean, if anyone else on this board knows about real estate it's definitely you. Ncturnal05-03-2006, 08:57 AMI consider myself a real estate newbie by a long shot. Sure, there will be a lot of things I hear there that I've already heard many other times, but if I'm not exercising all of those tips and tricks that I've heard repeatedly, I continue to go and hear it again and again until I do start using the information in my own pursuit of wealth. It's not a "read a book one time and you go it" sort of thing. I continually look for events like this, read books, talk to others who are in the same field. Repetition is the mother of skill. In short, I'd recommend you be there both days, take your own notes, and learn for yourself first-hand. You would most likely pick up on something that I miss if you attend yourself. You can't leave the responsibility up to someone else and expect the results you want. BTW, Barne's & Noble had $50 off coupons for the event. the2ndr05-05-2006, 12:48 PMtrue, true. $50 off eh? I didnt check the link you posted, but I can dam near be sure its nothing compared to what we all spend on car crap= One of the biggest investments that return practically nothing :( MR2TRD105-05-2006, 01:23 PMI would definately go cause I'd like to get into real estate at some point, but i have two finals on Saturday. Leave it up to GA State Business school to **** your weekened! Ncturnal05-06-2006, 07:22 PMKiller first day. The first session was worth the price of admittance. So was the second, and the third. :) I can't stress enough the value events like this have helped me financially. jakobe05-06-2006, 11:57 PMwas the "donald" there? jakobe05-06-2006, 11:58 PMI travel alot ...a different city each week..i have seen billboards for this in about every major citry i have been to in the past 2 months. Ncturnal05-07-2006, 06:09 AMwas the "donald" there?

He's there today. Ncturnal05-07-2006, 08:51 PMTrumps 10 keys to being successful in business

1. Ability to handle pressure
2. Love what you do. If you don’t, you’ll never be good at it.
3. Never, ever, ever give up. Never, ever, ever quit. (Note # 2, if you love what you do, it is easy not to quit.)
4. Stay focused. Harder to do in good times.
5. Be paranoid. People can be very, very bad.
6. Momentum
7. Get the best people and don’t trust them. You have to have the best and they have to respect you. They don’t have to you like you.
8. Luck. Some people are luckier than others.
9. Get even with people. When someone screws you, screw them back 10 times worse. When people see that you are a fighter and are going to go for their eyes if they screw you over, they will go for someone else.
10. Always have a prenuptial agreement. “I’ve seen more businesses ruined by divorce.” jakobe05-07-2006, 09:07 PMi agree wiht those 10 point s totally

if you love what you do then will will never work a day in your life
I love my job and it makes me very motivated to do it.
and it reflects in what i produce..people see this and they know they are recieving the best possible care thus equalling repeat cutomers and good word of mouth promotion.

I think i follow all but #10 in my career every day...sometimes i get sidetracked and lose focus (mainly when i get a new part for the 2 then the car consumes me for days)

but after the few days im back on track stronger than ever. Ncturnal05-07-2006, 09:10 PMI agree with all 10 of his points and especially # 10. :D He was a great speaker and I'm really glad I got to see him. He's someone I can really relate to....his attitude anyway. I don't have billions of dollars yet. PHOENIX05-07-2006, 09:51 PMI don't have billions of dollars yet.

Key word = YET
