View Full Version : For Sale: 1988 Mr2 t-tops supercharged 4agze just rebuilt with extras

aw11'in09-26-2010, 01:14 AM$2,000!!!!!!!!!! +extras included!!!!

I just got done rebuilding the engine on my 88' top to bottom, bottom to top whatever the saying is. I tore down the block to bare and installed new toyota piston rings, acl race bearings on the rods and crank. Head was machine shopped and magna fluxed.

All brand new: arp head bolts/flywheel bolts, oil pump, water pump, springs, valves, valve stem seals, stage 1 excedy clutch, aisin slave, thermostat, aluminum oversized crank, aluminum undersized water pump pulley, aluminum undersized idlers, undersized sc12 pulley of a low mileage corolla properly shimed, toyota mr2 supercharger oil(cost an arm and a leg!!), new belts all around, new mounts all around, new vacuum and coolant lines(most of them), HKS adjustable cam gears, new rubber and paper seals everywhere main camshaft etc all toyota brand, toyota oem slight oversized headgasket, toyota coolant cap, TRD spark plug wires, Denso iridium spark plugs, new cap and rotor, Autometer boost and oil press gauges, transmission drained and filled with valvoline synthetic 75w, o and of course how can i forget new drivers side axle that cost me more than you can guess, the last one in america from toyota or anywhere i could find.

Included with the car: extra sc12 supercharger in great shape, grunt box for all you sc mr2 fans, extra supercharger oil, the original spoiler off the car like brand new, a box full of extra gaskets(water pump, intake, sc gaskets, valve cover gaskets, etc) new set of e3 spark plugs, extra mr2 stock shifter, a ton of extra relays for every single relay off this car, extra sensors, extra intercooler couplers, clear corner lights, im sure theres more i don't remember off the top of my head.

The car is mechanically in 120% there and very driveable if it had a new radiator.

My original plan was to restore the car and make it a daily driveable track car but plans fell down the drain due to toyotas recalls and business not being were it should leaving me unemployed. This car has common rust spots for 1st gen mr2s. It also needs a new front bumper and passenger side fender. Interior wise the car is all there and everything works. I deleted the a.c aside from that its great, t-tops don't leak a drop. All the lights work inside and out. I did not cheap out one bit from everything i've done to the car, i used to work a toyota dealership so i would make sure to keep parts dept busy flying parts in for me. I have every receipt for every dollar i put into this thing and its well over what im asking and my loss i just really need to pay some bills. Please email me at podin67@gmail.com or pm me on here or call me at 443 810 8823, car can be test driven but not to far due to radiator needing replacement. I put only approximately 1500 miles on it before it went bad. I HAVE PICTURES AND A LOT MORE CAN BE TAKEN LET ME KNOW! markie196910-13-2010, 12:55 AMI just got done rebuilding the engine on my 88' top to bottom, bottom to top whatever the saying is.
