Maybe that's just me though. :p Butters04-19-2010, 09:22 PMlooks fantastic! im also in the middle of a rebuild and repaint. tstoney8204-19-2010, 09:23 PMi like it. how are you guys doing the wing delete? i got mine off and i was wondering what to do with the holes. just wondering what you guys did to fill/smooth them out. thx113804-19-2010, 09:24 PMFantastic! Welding the holes shut and grinding them down smooth is the proper way to do it. David04-19-2010, 09:31 PMi like it. how are you guys doing the wing delete? i got mine off and i was wondering what to do with the holes. just wondering what you guys did to fill/smooth them out.

Weld over them, then use filler to smooth it out.

Edit:  Davs beat me to it. Sh0ty04-19-2010, 09:33 PMLooks fantastic! I prefer the wing, but the paint is just amazing! ShackC04-19-2010, 09:36 PMLooks very good, only thind id do differently, get stock front corners, or solid side moldings, ad a clear "JDM" repeater on the upper rear of the front fender. Other than that, its pretty much what im doing, but im going with satin black black trim and wheels.

Very nice job. tstoney8204-19-2010, 09:38 PMWelding the holes shut and grinding them down smooth is the proper way to do it.

i figured so. thanks.

oh yeah, your exhaust.......not that great looking but thats just my opinion. i would go with something a little more tucked back instead of sticking out so far. but the paint is on point. what paint did you use? RePete04-19-2010, 09:42 PMCriticism? You've got to be kidding. Love it! Great job.

The only thing I have an OCD thing about is you need fatter rear tires on those Villians. stupidfast90004-19-2010, 11:43 PMi figured so. thanks.

id be open to trading the exhaust, its a pretty rare piece (dual tip tanabe) and sounds great. but your right they need to be a little firther back.... i could always just cut the tips off and weld them in closer

i used dupont chroma system paint. ferrari red and a standard black... thought about doing a bmw metallic black but i didnt wanna mix a non metallic with a metallic petedynamics04-19-2010, 11:50 PMbeautiful overrevmr204-28-2010, 01:45 AMstock oem no tickets Furril04-28-2010, 02:46 AMi love it i wanna do a two tone myslef Mister2.204-28-2010, 04:53 AMLooks nice, but too bad you decided to pull of the wing. MR2s just IMO don't look right at all without that wing, would be a good time to upgrade to a 94 wing though. LeePeyton04-28-2010, 07:34 AMVery nice sir, I think it would look better with a door handle :P
Just messing with you I'm sure you took it off to paint.
Very good job man. Madlife04-28-2010, 08:46 AMAwesome... mind sharing the rough cost for paint and supplies? Theres an endless debate on both sites between maaco jobs and expensive jobs... I still say if you have the time to do it yourself, it should be under $500, a good learning experience, and youll be ready to fix anything that needs to be redone down the line.

Im wingless too and dont like it some days.. I say if anything go with 94+ wings so you only put holes in the trunk, it will be easier to reverse down the line then patching the rear 1/4 stupidfast90005-03-2010, 08:31 AMcost was right around 500 assuming you already have all the tools, the paint alone was 400 and sand paper is cheap. but i did have to buy a new compressor and buffer before i was finished so that took me up to about 900 Russell the Love Muscle05-03-2010, 09:31 AMIt looks fantastic!

let me know when you want me to bring mine over for some fresh paint :D Horndog05-03-2010, 12:52 PMYour paint job looks great. I was thinking about repainting my 2. Where did you buy your paint? Would you mind going through the process on re-painting your car? I need some advice. Thanks! Cleanest Duece05-03-2010, 01:02 PMi like the rockstars on your infiniti.... thats my favorite suv wheel choice Cleanest Duece05-03-2010, 01:03 PMand your mr2 looks way better now Jared Bishop03-21-2011, 06:05 PMWhat color code did you use? Is it the Crimson Red or Super Red? ShackC03-22-2011, 02:02 AMgod i love those side scoops, anyone wanna trade those ones for stock ones?
