holydiver198704-13-2010, 10:29 PMhey new here but thought you guys/gals may want a crack at this one
88 supercharged mr2 spent 10k on the motor 5 speed jdm spec trans and suspension and paint at about 100xxx miles was about 4-5 years ago had a kid and it has sat and very seldom driven was preping it for racing but found it to enjoyable as a dialy before i had my kid tho so the interior and the exterior look stock the money was spent on the motor trans and the suspension had the motor fully rebuilt rotated balenced ported polished cams etc dont remember all of it caus it was nearly 6 years ago that i started this and with moving about 6 times ill be damned if i can find any paperwork for it car is black with a black cloth interior lots of power goodys brand new tires fresh oils and filter newer shift cablesetc only things i know are wrong with it is the speedo cable is binding somewhere in the tube after sitting(was like this when i bought it and after replacing all but the cable i sprayed some liquid lithium in it and worked till i parked it 3 months ago) the muffler needs a new j-pipe (the one that goes from the cat to the mufflers) and the paint is showing its five years( drivers quarter is rusting again ive fixed it 3 times new owners turn) long story short ive moved on to other projects and am joining the air force so it needs to be sold partialy cause i have no time for it and partially to fund other projects anyways on to price i bought it for 3800 6 years ago and put over 10k into it 3 years ago i had all kinds of offers for 6-7000 dollars would like to get some of my money back but im realistic market sucks and no one gots money so make a reasonable offer thanks doug

262-689-1251 soldier14704-13-2010, 10:43 PMI live near Stevens Point and have seen your ad before. I just don't have anywhere near the amount you would want for it. Are you still looking for trades? holydiver198704-21-2010, 07:31 PMya still lookin for trades and the price just went down by 3-400 cause some dumb **** broke a shift fork on me soldier14704-25-2010, 07:50 PMWhat are you looking for in trades? I'd hate for the car to go to a junk yard, what sort of deal would you do for a fellow service member and MR2 addict? holydiver198704-30-2010, 09:58 PMdepends what you got and the deal email me i dont check this often thanks doug holydiver198705-20-2010, 02:44 PMlooking for a maverick a corrado or something nice and preferably 4 seat prefer older but consider anything thanks holydiver198705-25-2010, 01:15 AMprice is 2000 flat last time round before i throw it in storage for a long time thanks soldier14705-25-2010, 04:48 PMWhen is it coming out of storage? holydiver198705-26-2010, 12:01 AMif it dont sell by the end of the month it will probly be away for bout 6 years have some interest in it now but no one that really seams like they have the cash right now have lots of trade offers for gran prix an crap but nothin really worth my time have my next car lined up if i sell for 1600 plus fees and need a clutch for my amx so i really would rather just some good old american cash in the pocket right now i love my mr2 to death and have put so much into it but i wont give it the attention it needs for a long time so i would rather see someone give her a chance to run the streets always more mr2s out there next one might be a 2gen tho so it doesnt piss me off with the deja vu stuff (didnt i do this already) but some day is another thing so ya a while soldier14705-29-2010, 12:32 PMDarn, my tuition reimbursement won't hit til July and I should have the money for it. LMK your thoughts on this and if it would be too late. I would love to have your car and I have the rear quarters for it as well as fenders. DWG21R05-29-2010, 07:30 PMAs much as I would like to invest in another vehicle, it would cost too much to get it across the border.. holydiver198705-31-2010, 01:29 PMya import anything and it gets expensive ive wanted a mini cooper for as long as i can remember you can pick one up for about 200 bucks in england have it shipped for 8-900 most times but all the import costs and fees (legal bs) cost you 2-3000 i understand the would be too expensive

probly pull out o storage to sell but after end of the month not activly make a nice offer and we will see type of thing i like this car but really wanna pick up my future maverick and get going on it before i ship in aug and with 6 other cars that need work would love some cash but again love this one too and know what it is worth in the long run so i dont really have to sell it holydiver198706-08-2010, 02:55 PMany one out there got 1800 sitting in there pockets wantin this before it goes away idk just kind of dont wanna mess with storage and really wanna pick up my maverick so i can get to work on it with my pa before i ship that and im sick of looking at it sit and know it still hasnt moved (it aggravates me to park cars up and not drive them) that and it just feels like i wasted my money when it just sits there Powered by vBulletin® Version 4.2.5 Copyright © 2026 vBulletin Solutions Inc.
