holymr209-02-2009, 11:54 AMFeeler thread
So stout dicountiued the stout lip for our mk2s and ive been seeing alot of buzz looking for one. So after no vendor would do this and all the members here online asking for it I decided Ill make it. This way I can mold the lines alittle better to my likeing and help out the community the way everyone here has been so helpful to me.

I made this lip from scratch. As well as the mold. I youst to own a shop but in these times was forced to close. So I had some free time inbetween watchin the kids.

My main goal was to make a lip with some of the best fittment ive ever seen and to make it cheaper than any other lip on the market. This way everyone is happy as long as some people buy this lip. Otherwise I have a very expensive one off lip  and mold. So trying to help everyone out who has said repatively how much they want this im making it available to you.

So heres the deal these lips will cost under $200. They will be made of frp and the buyer pays shipping. For better price info please pm me. These will be made to order as I have told everyone previously and will take one to two weeks to ship depending on how many orders I have at one time. I will be happy to update you with a better time frame when and if your ready to order. Being made to order if there are any personal changes or possibly a material change you would like (within reason) I will be happy to comply. The main reason im not keeping these in stock is I have so much equity in the prototype and the mold so there is no spare cash to just make parts that no one is willing to buy.

There will be no extra bracketry needed that I know of. And you can use all of your stock bolts so there are no hidden charges. Furthermore shipping can be paid when im finished with your lip and should also help some of our broke friends out because im in the same boat. Professional install is reccomended but I will gladly help with instructions if need be.

Ok so on with the pics to show fittment and the lip. More pics upon request of a certain angle but I dont think its needed.

I had to show a good side view mr.asian.m209-03-2009, 07:32 PMis this the same size as the 93 lip or is it alittle bit bigger? Medusa09-03-2009, 08:22 PMLooks bigger to me. I've got a 93. SW21T09-03-2009, 09:51 PMThat looks awsome man, maybe I can get one off you later on. I'm broke. mr.asian.m209-03-2009, 10:33 PMif this is bigger then the 93 lip. i want one. holymr209-04-2009, 07:38 AMif this is bigger then the 93 lip. i want one.

It is bigger. If you look from the side and take a tape measure from the bottom of the side moldings closest to the fender. And you measure down to the bottom of the lip it is 13 5/8". So yes it has longer vertical sides. holymr209-04-2009, 07:41 AMThat looks awsome man, maybe I can get one off you later on. I'm broke.

Cool. I understand we all become broke at certain times of the year. I have twin girls and there birthday is on the 14th of this month. Guess where all my money is going. da_force09-06-2009, 05:17 PMWow that look's great :) Now I can't promisse anything but I will have you in mind when I decide to buy one ;) RePete09-06-2009, 05:51 PMI might just buy one to have as a spare. That's one part I seem to replace as often as a clutch, it should be re-classified as a 'wear' item. :) SW21T09-06-2009, 07:29 PMWow that look's great :) Now I can't promisse anything but I will have you in mind when I decide to buy one ;)

Same here holymr209-06-2009, 09:22 PMI might just buy one to have as a spare. That's one part I seem to replace as often as a clutch, it should be re-classified as a 'wear' item. :)

Thats more true than most of us want to admit. :) holymr209-07-2009, 05:58 PMGood to hear Yellow mr2 and da force. Well maybe there will be more buzz on my next prototype because its just not enough on the lip for me to become a vendor here.

Thanks for all the kind words guys

David mr309-07-2009, 06:11 PMYou dont have to be a vendor to sell here. You can just post them for sale in the sale section. holymr209-07-2009, 08:15 PMYou dont have to be a vendor to sell here. You can just post them for sale in the sale section.

Thats a good idea to. Thanks Sh0ty09-20-2009, 12:25 PMPerhaps you might want to consider making the lip out of CF. I saw one on a Lotus Exige the other day and it looked great. If not, I'm still interested in your lip, it looks great!
