However, I spent a lot of time finding random parts for this thing, so I know how annoying it can be. It has lots of nice little upgrades that are still totally salvageable:

- rear window visor (with brand new seals)
- LED spoiler
- 89 tails
- 89 side skirts
- OEM replica MR2 floormats, brand new
- sport shifter, HKS knob + new Italian leather shift boot w/red stitching, brand new
- 2 very new Falken Azenis on the back, less than 500mi., have receipt
- Eibach pro kit springs
- koni yellows
- even the stock steering wheel is very, very OEM nice.

I always keep my cars super clean, and this is no exception. The interior is very, very nice - nicer than 95% of Mk1s that I have seen around. I always keep a sun blocker in the windshield. No cracks on the dash or radio surround, or anywhere. Seats a bit faded, but in nice shape, passenger seat in excellent shape. I just had the whole car repainted 2-tone, about 6 months ago.

Had it buffed about a month ago, fantastic, pics here:
MR2 Owners Club Message Board™ (http://mr2oc.com/showthread.php?t=353249)

The chassis has 202k mi, the engine has about 45k miles, and runs fine.

All damage is on the front, the rest is fine, including the doors. This could be a great parts car for anyone looking to build their Mk1, or just restore one, etc. Like I said, I keep my cars nice, you can see that here:

Su can vouch for me, and this car, he did all the work on it (except paint).

SOLD.

Thanks. Sylvan08-19-2009, 06:48 AMOh snap! Did someone try to make a left turn right in front of you? Everyone healthy? lsgheero08-19-2009, 10:24 AMIf i had the spare cash I would take it for the parts alone... such as the engine and trans but trying to close on a house lol so no toys for me for awhile yet... :( lucky_charms08-19-2009, 11:34 AMhow much u looking for therealmusashi08-19-2009, 01:00 PMI'd like to let it go as a whole, and I think $500 is a really fair price - there are well over $500 in new parts in the car that can be easily pulled and used. $250 in tires on the back, right now - bought'em 2 weeks ago.

When I first bought this Mk1 and was restoring it, I would have have saved a ton of money if I could have found a wrecked one like this and harvested all the parts I wanted.

And yeah, someone turned left in front of me. Everyone's fine though, thanks for asking.

Edit: SOLD. It will be used by someone building their '86. So, it will live again. Powered by vBulletin® Version 4.2.5 Copyright © 2026 vBulletin Solutions Inc. All rights reserved.
