that sucks tho, seriously :( cps_goodbuy08-05-2009, 11:50 AMThanks Puretone for the kind words

yeah, girlfriend is in germany and not for sale  unfortunately

dad is alright, though at 72, dialysis 3 times a week, and trying to pay the bills (he still works as an accountant), things in the family are very shaky.:undecided (complicated family story that I do not wish to go further into) either way, it is not to cover health concerns, it has more about me having to make my own way in life and I am unemployed at the moment.

It would be amazing to bring the car to germany, but not feasible, btw my gf lives a hour and half from "The Ring" ((Yes, I have been there once, but not with this car))

Edit: Reason for such a high starting price (well over a year ago) is that I had spent a huge amount on making the car perfect and didn't need to sell at all (an Elise S111 came along then and I fancied the idea)

BTW: if there is a german buyer, I could drive it over in september. cps_goodbuy08-05-2009, 12:01 PMpic, confirming what the car looks like PearlJammzz08-05-2009, 01:14 PMSweet color. Never offered here in the US. Also the interiors on the Rev5's are AMAZINGLY sexy. I want your gauge cluster lol. David08-05-2009, 01:21 PM^That's all you want?!? I want the whole car! puretone08-05-2009, 03:34 PMThanks Puretone for the kind words

I drove at 325km/h on das autobahn in my cousin's sickly modified RS6 Estate....

An accountant?! Send him here to the states....he'd make 8x as much.....and be able to afford all med-procedures easy Madlife08-07-2009, 09:39 AMAhh... there are soo many nice cars in Europe and japan that the US doesn't have...

Then again, i saw the same thing about women... RST08-07-2009, 01:08 PMThat's funny, when you live in the UK it's usually nice to see foreign totty when you're away for a change!

CPS -much more attractive price so hopefully it shifts now (don't like the colour but looks a good deal), I know prices are high in Ireland (well I was staggered when I went to Dunleary week anyway) but almost the complete opposite in the UK for MR2's thanks to the owners clubs de-valuing everything:banghead:.

Good luck with it and free bump -and get it on imoc if you haven't already! cps_goodbuy08-07-2009, 04:00 PMThanks guys for the feedback, will get it up on imoc when I have the free time. So hey if you know anyone in the market for one. I feel you couldn't get much better than this :) RST08-07-2009, 04:05 PMGet it on IMOC you NUMPTY -THAT'S ABOUT THE POLITEST ADVICE I CAN GIVE TO YOU!!!!

...Seriously dude it's the UK MR2 place, but be prepared to haggle on price and defend yourself. But that's probably your most viable option for a sale TBH.

You can advertise on there if you join at £7.50 -short of beams info the best MR2 resource on the UK net/area bar none for MR2's. cps_goodbuy08-07-2009, 04:14 PMNumpty? first time been called that hehe
*Sings* "Follow the IMO-C road, Follow the IMO-C Road.. Follow, follow ,foll....."

Seriously though, yeah, will do. Thanks RST08-07-2009, 04:25 PMWell I wouldn't go off to imoc saying off to the imoc road because they will probably tear you to shreds. You may remember I contacted you via PM originally that you were asking an astronomical mount for the spec on private sale originally. Don't get me wrong I'm not into knocking down MR2 prices like every UK owners club is but you better get advertising on there if you want to sell in the UK (I wouldn't bother with the mr2oc personally but that's my take).

Remember at your price now you are maybe battling with rev 5 tubbys in the UK -I did say to you before!!! cps_goodbuy08-07-2009, 04:38 PMyeah, know what you mean, will leave this open here for awhile then move the advert to more general grounds. RST08-07-2009, 05:49 PMDude put it on imoc ASAP. You are daft not to being so close to home!!! cps_goodbuy08-08-2009, 04:25 PMok guys, the advert will be moving now.

Wish me luck for keeping her. puretone08-08-2009, 06:48 PMok guys, the advert will be moving now.

Wish me luck for keeping her.

Hopi bon suerte swa! cps_goodbuy08-11-2009, 04:52 AMI have recieved an Irish offer of €3400?

Edit: maybe thats what it would be worth to him, not what the car is worth to me. SS-III08-12-2009, 11:38 AMMr2's seem to be going cheap at the moment and most people proably don't know what the red top beams is :(

YouTube - beams mr2 walkaround

Whoever posted that vid of your car also likes vids of cars messing on public roads :P cps_goodbuy08-13-2009, 03:37 PM:lol: saw that vid before, the guy was/is a mechanic and he wanted to get a nissan 180 drift thing

vid is definitely before I had the car, got rid of all junky stuff then spent 3 months getting her perfect :)

Edit: Don't approve of any messing on public roads. seriously. Arranged events are the only time and place, however, my kind of thing is Me + MR2 + The Ring.... someday :( cps_goodbuy08-13-2009, 03:38 PMNot going to let her go until an enthusiast comes along :D Powered by vBulletin® Version 4.2.5 Copyright © 2026 vBulletin Solutions Inc.
