eBay Motors: JDM TOYOTA MR2 AE86 TACOMA CELICA 320MM STEERING WHEEL (item 280221521112 end time May-02-08 18:52:52 PDT) (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-TOYOTA-MR2-AE86-TACOMA-CELICA-320MM-STEERING-WHEEL_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33704QQihZ018QQit emZ280221521112QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW)

eBay Motors: 84-95 MR2 Celica 87-90 Camry Steering Wheel Hub Adaptor (item 380022841605 end time May-06-08 09:29:41 PDT) (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33704&viewitem=&item=380022841605&_trksid=p3907.m29) mr2boost05-02-2008, 03:01 PMANY after-market steering wheel can be made to work. Just depends on what type of "QUALITY" you want from the wheel manufacturer. What you have listed here will work fine. That is a "no brand name" steering wheel listed there, even though it looks good, it may start having stitching problems & wear problems after using it for a while. For it is NOT real leather (states PVC leather which = Poly Vinyl Chloride) & not double or triple stitched (liked Momo & Sparco & Nardi wheels are).

As long as the adapter (hub) will fit your year of MR2 (which it states it will) it should fit right up & clear all the switches (but you never really know when you order "no-name" equipment from eBay). I KNOW The hub kits from Grant (not as well made as the others out there), Momo, Sparco WILL fit "correctly.

You have a mk1 so installation on your MR2 should be EASY!

Daniel :D Kevin mr2 198505-03-2008, 12:59 AMwell i know its not brand name and i really dont care that much but the adapter was my only issue so ill look at grants mabey and ill decide soon mr2boost05-05-2008, 10:51 PMFWIW The eBay hub adapter looks better than a Grant hub.

Daniel :D Kevin mr2 198505-06-2008, 12:08 AMokay well is it going to be big enough for clearnace of the turn signal switch mr2boost05-07-2008, 11:15 AMUmmm, the turn signal stalk is mounted under the plastic trim around the steering column. A hub adaptor will mount to the splines on the center bolt for the steering column, which is right where the plastic trim ends. So, just about ANY hub that is at least 1" long or more "should" clear the stalk. I personally have never seen one that hit the turn signal switch stalk. As long as it is fro the "correct" year/make vehicle.

That eBay one looks like it would be just fine.
