Do you have more pics of the lights? Are they adjustable? What sort of wiring comes with them? Do they come with the necessary relays, etc...? Are they low/high beam or just lowbeam?

Lots of people would be more than happy to spend 600 dollars on quality lighting. The MR2's age really shows when it comes to lighting up the night, newer designs for headlights are way better. the projector is the low beam and the crystal cased inner lights are the high beam.
we only have halos in blue at the moment and intend to increase our variety in the future.
the projectors are fully adjustable.
double gel coated for a fantastic strong enduring finish
the fitment is spot on.
we have sold 2 so far and as soon as they fit it we will have extra pics to post up of their cars.
we are trying to develop a hid kit for it also but its only in development stage as space is limited. Making a kit would be easy... just fiberglass a housing for the two projector bulbs, and another piece for the cowling (I imagine you could even make it one piece). It's fairly easy (so I've heard) to modify the mechanism to make the lights low-rise, so you wouldn't even have to include that in the kit.

Yeah, I hate it when ppl rip off a nice product, devalue it, and flood the market with crap. The only thing I'd ever use RaceOnUSA for is a reference...as in...hey, who originally made this piece so I can buy the original piece from the original maker and not the rip off not fitting crap.

I find it funny how people are such snobs about their car ownership being better than somebody else.

You will not find quality HID projectors and a kit for $300, period.

You can argue the point all day but that's the real bottom line, quality HIDs are more than $300 EACH by themselves, and you'd need 4 plus the kit.

I agree with Oteck. You still haven't said why they are trash. Putting HID's in halogen housings always is a gamble. Just because an HID doesn't fit well or output great in a Hella HALOGEN housing doesn't make it trash. The housing was designed for HALOGEN lights, not HIDs...the the output with HID's in there very well may not be great. It will be like that with ANY halogen housing you try to shove HID's into. That's the gamble you take when you put a product into something it wasn't designed for. That doesn't make it trash. It was never designed for HIDS.

As for the Hella HID housings, so they are expensive...that doesn't make them trash. They are damn good. Good products aren't cheap. Just because the price is sky high doesn't mean it's crap. Do-Luck body parts are great products, and the cost is astronomical. No one is going to call them crap though. So they are expensive. So the Hella HIDS are expensive. Big deal, you get what you pay for most of the time, and quality isn't cheap. If you try to go cheap and shove HIDs in halogen housings, expect output that isn't as great as HIDS in HID housings. Of course the output will be marginal when you compare a halogen housing with HIDs to a real HID housing. The halogen housing was never made for HID lighting. Yes, it really does make a difference. Oh, so you are saying that placing a bulb that was not made for the Hella lamp and that was never designed to work together resulted in marginal performance makes them crap?

You would be just as mad because an H9 bulb won't fit in your H4 housing?

Many people have used drop-in kits with great success, it's a standard H9 bulb. Sometimes it doesn't work, I mean Hella H9 lights are made to be used with H9 bulbs. If you decide to retrofit another bulb in there HID or not and it doesn't work very well then that's not the products fault. It's the same reason I can not and will not warranty the performance of the light if modified, and I doubt you would find anyone on ANY product to do anything different.

FYI,
I have a full HID projector kit from Hella, I have yet to see a better pattern and brighter light. I got what I paid for, and from the sounds of things so did you. Sorry. Well the light on the right side of the cut off step drops off quickly thusly lowering the light usable, hot spots limit the amount of light towards the center of the output and the fact that I've only seen a few cases were a side by side comparison of hid and halogen projector bowls actually showed a similar shape (most of the time there was still some fluting or angled cuts into the bowl on either version).

Yea it's not the optics fault, but at the same rate the only thing I'm getting for the price of the halogen units is the weather proofing, I've seen better non hid projectors. And for the warranty comment, what exactly do you warranty on the rev-6 units? what goes wrong to need warrantying?

I haven't had the car since the week they were installed so I do not have any final pictures with the lights adjusted correctly. It has been up at KO Racing since June'ish 2007.

In response to the other points...

The lighting actually steps UP to the right on the low beams, thus you may have had the reflector clocked to the ECE spec. They are able to be made for either right or left hand drive vehicles, so they may have been set wrong.

Haven't had any issue so far, warranty is 1 year not including bulbs, barring any signs of abuse obviously.

Comparing this to S2000 or a ZKW lens on a TL projectors isn't really a straightforward comparison. I feel the lighting is equal or better and I am pretty sure you sould spend more fitting those lights to your MR2 due to the body work involved.
I dunno, maybe you can stuff part of it in the headlight bucket?
