View Full Version : MR2 OEM Cup Holder

Kurdain10-21-2007, 04:01 AMAll,
I can get OEM cup holders for the MR2.
They are black and in the same texture as the dash.
It is a double cup holder, 1/2 DIN in size.

I've sold a few of these and they fit perfect, it is OEM so they should.

They actually hold larger cups as well, unlike some JDM ones that have troubles holding anything larger than a 12-ounce can.

Turn around time on this is about 2 weeks, about a week to get them after the order is placed and a week to get it to you.
It's much easier for me to order several of these at a time.

Cost is: $80 shipped.

Paypal is red_firebird_78@yahoo.com
If there is enough interest I will place an order on or around November 2nd, but I can order these anytime.
If there is large enough interest, 10+, I will ask about getting a better price from my supplier.

Thanks, Oteck10-21-2007, 11:29 PMgot pics? im interested fidget10-21-2007, 11:52 PM+1 For pics Final1310-22-2007, 01:00 AMgots to have pics... Kurdain10-22-2007, 05:55 AMI can't take pics.
I can't order a bunch to take pics then end up with stock no one purchases.

It's the OEM toyota dual cup holder, black, 1/2 DIN in size.

It fits well and I haven't had any complaints, its factory OEM, Toyota cup holder.

I'll ask the guy at the dealership that I purchase through to take pics but I am sure he won't be able too and I can't afford to drive 850 miles to take a pic.

I'll see what I can do however. Final1310-22-2007, 06:06 AMI assume they are black? Kurdain10-22-2007, 06:50 AMI can't take pics.

Yes, Black. canadam10-22-2007, 08:39 AMThe MR2 cupholder took up a full DIN pocket, did it not? What car is this piece from, and are you offering a filler for the 1/2 DIN slot left open?

I am 99.999% sure its a 1/2 din unit, I will verify.
I dunno what the JDM OEM version was and I am not offering anything to fill in the open spot. That's a good idea though, I'll look into offering that as well in the future if I can get a decent price.

Everyone that I have sold these too has filled in the open spaces with a 1/4 DIN turbo timer and 1/4 DIN boost controller. PearlJammzz10-26-2007, 08:16 AMYa Jeremy, pics would be nice so we know which one you are talking about :) Kurdain11-02-2007, 06:48 AMAs I said the cupholder is a 1/2 DIN item.
It's Black, but I can get Tan and Grey if you want.

I can also order a 1/2 DIN blank, in black only, for an extra $20 shipped, but typically people have an EBC and TT in the empty slot.

I do not have pictures, it's black, holds 2 drinks, slides in and out like other holders, 1/2 DIN, matches the MR2 plastic.....if I had one in stock I would take a pic.

I'm not sure what else to say. canadam11-02-2007, 08:13 AMIt most likely looks like this:

You can see the cup holder under the little storage compartment over the shifter. Kurdain11-02-2007, 04:58 PMIt most likely looks like this:

Yes it's a 1/2 DIN just like that, but the blank to fill in the spot is 1/2 DIN as well, not a large storage compartment shown there. 55mr211-02-2007, 07:36 PMIs this what we are talking about.

I think the OP is talking about a 1/2 DIN size (which is what mine is) rather than a full 1 DIN (like yours). I would much prefer one like you show cause then I wouldn't need a 1/2 DIN spacer. Kurdain11-02-2007, 08:56 PMI had no idea a cup holder was going to be such a huge issue.
I've specific color, dimensions, price and functionality.

If you don't like it you can return it (in good condition), I don't know what else I can do? Bak@EMSPowered11-02-2007, 09:06 PMI had no idea a cup holder was going to be such a huge issue.

Maybe just order a single one to get pics of, and then sell them? It'd definitely clear up a lot of the confusion. Kurdain11-02-2007, 09:22 PMI've done that with other items for people that 'had money in hand'.
I sat on almost $2000 of product for months.

I'm not trying to be defensive, it's just there's a pic of it here already, I've confirmed the configuration multiple times.

I'm still sitting on a Rev6 kit that was already 'sold', I don't want to keep repeating that and keep losing money that I work hard for. I don't make nearly anything on this anyways and I thought it would be more of a courtesy since so many people want a cupholder in their MR2. Very good point canadam11-02-2007, 11:32 PMIf you PM me the P/N, I'll purchase one from my local dealer and post pics if it helps. Kurdain11-03-2007, 12:00 AMIf you PM me the P/N, I'll purchase one from my local dealer and post pics if it helps.

That's interesting. I can't sell one of these because I don't have pics but you'll purchase one sight unseen from someone else. :/

May as well close this thread, it's not worth the $5 profit. canadam11-03-2007, 12:08 AMThat's interesting. I can't sell one of these because I don't have pics but you'll purchase one sight unseen from someone else. :/

My father is the sales manager at the local dealer, so I have the advantage of buying parts at employee cost and wouldn't likely get one from you anyway.

I was just trying to help out, forgive me. fidget11-03-2007, 12:17 AMI've done that with other items for people that 'had money in hand'.

I don't understand the problem here. A cup holder is clearly not $2000 dollars worth of product nor would you need to order a large amount at once. You clearly have many people who are interested and many more I'm sure that have yet to speak up. If it's as good as you claim I feel very confident you could at the VERY least unload the one you purchased and make your money back plus that $5 AND add the pictures that many members are asking for/about. While you work hard for your money I work hard for mine as well and refuse to splurge for something I don't even have pictures for. Kurdain11-03-2007, 12:55 AMI'd understand if it was a used item.
It's new from Toyota.

And yes you don't understand, but here's an example.

Out of the 137 messages I have in my inbox, 112 are for the rev6 light kit I have left. Of those messages at least 1/2 'have money in hand'.

I still have the kit in my basement, new, in the box.

While you see this as 'what's the big deal it's just $80' but then state you won't spend your money on it but state I should spend mine.

It's new, it's made by Toyota, canadam already posted a pic of it installed, I've explained every detail, twice over, I've offered to return it if people don't like it.
If it's a fear of being screwed over then you should check my feedback.

My mistake over trying to offer it as cheap as possible.
