Rogue systems in the UK made good replicas, but they stopped producing them. Sides...dunno. VTsuckah13105-11-2007, 06:09 AMAre your current wheels Konig GTR's? If so, what size and are u planning to replace them? PeStVic05-12-2007, 01:20 AMdamn.. the sides are what i wanted to know most :( anyone?

but sweet the rear splitters look good thanks VTw.

i was also thinking toms.. but im not sure.

also when i look up bomex sides. they dont look quite the same?

They are Bomex sides, but someone may have modified them a little bit on that car. Look at Brian's (Ncturnal) car, that's a Bomex car, and a DAMN cool one!

Bomex USA is getting in a BUNCH of *new* products in this and next month, you can always try calling them directly and asking if you can order a specific kit -request a catalog too so you know what the different styles look like. PeStVic05-15-2007, 12:36 AMdamn sounds good. if anything how hard would it be to flush the skirts and fill those indents in the bomex bumper before paint?

http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b116/VicTheDicksPics/bodykitexp.jpg

ill try and get the catalog though :) PeStVic05-15-2007, 12:37 AMand damn i love that wing.... im debating getting rid of the stock spoiler and getting that one.. but im not sure :-P shit i should go all out and get the 93-94 tails :-P Slidealliance05-15-2007, 08:46 AMdamn sounds good. if anything how hard would it be to flush the skirts and fill those indents in the bomex bumper before paint?

Not hard for the front, any body shop could do this VERY quickly, but it does take time for the fiberglass to cure, glaze to cure, primer to cure, sanding and minor body work, and obviously painting. The sides might be a little harder, however, I think they come like that. Not totally sure, but you could always call Bomex direct and ask when order the catalog.....

Check out Chris Yap's car, it's a bomex car with the phoenix power rears as well: http://www.mr2board.com/forums/showcase-2006/Toyota-MR2-5596-march-2006-mr2-showcase.html

Depending on what Madpsi.net's new trunk looks like, I might do the 98+ wing as well. I was going to do trd, but its starting to get overplayed.:undecided PeStVic05-15-2007, 11:15 PMhow hard would it be to do with bondo and primer? thats what im thinking of doing IF i get the kit. im starting to like my stock look :)

but the sides i still might get Slidealliance05-16-2007, 09:25 AMhow hard would it be to do with bondo and primer? thats what im thinking of doing IF i get the kit. im starting to like my stock look :)

Dont Bondo Fiberglass! -It cracks fairly easily even when done right. Honestly, if you want to fill the holes in the front bumper, smooth the fiberglass down as much as possible, then mold the rest with Glaze (finishing bondo - comes after regular bondo to get it perfect or fill pinholes) then prime and sand the spots three times and you will get what you want fairly easily.

If you get the sides, you will be pissed you didnt do something on the front of the car. It looks unfinished unless you have something like the 94+ front lip or similar lip. And actually, Bomex makes quite a few different lips as well. Check them out before you do anything for sure. Lips are a lot less painless than an aftermarket front bumper too.:D PeStVic05-16-2007, 03:50 PMalright sweet sounds good ill keep looking thanks guys :) redna05-18-2007, 03:08 AMI'm pretty sure those are TOM's sides... not Bomex. It is a Bomex front though. Slidealliance05-18-2007, 09:33 AMI'm pretty sure those are TOM's sides... not Bomex. It is a Bomex front though.

I think they stop in the "normal/usual" spot......I wish I could remember, search on here for someone who has them and shoot them a PM asking about it. PeStVic05-19-2007, 01:46 AMalright will do. well does anyone know whos car that is? id like to ask them personally.

That car is legendary, I'm surprised I'm the only one that recognized it enough to look into it. Slidealliance05-19-2007, 09:01 PMBTW, more info about that car can be seen here.

..............wow, I am officially a jackass, I didnt recognize that car AT ALL!!!! Black sucks, I couldnt even see the vent. The Fukui sides look almost identical to the bomex aside from very small differences anyway - screw it, get bomex anyway. Powered by vBulletin® Version 4.2.5 Copyright © 2026 vBulletin Solutions Inc.
