Im going to go around to a couple of body shops today and get estimates on having my hood and headlights painted, and i was wondering if anyone could give me a ballpark guess on how much it will be so i know if im getting ripped off. ;) Thanks for any info in advance MR2TRD103-06-2007, 01:49 PMHood probably around $175 if its just a respray. you can always find someone to use crappier paints and do a more bang-up job for less. you can get an entire car sprayed for 200 these days! theres a good reason they're doing it for 200, and other places do it for 2000 though.

plan to spend more towards 500.. it'll look nice to have it properly blended in to actually match the rest of your car, and to have a quality paint applied to a properly prepped surface. I'm thinking about getting my car a completely different job, and talking to some of the deuce owners hear they mentioned that a lot of shops won't take on a half finished job.
